I don't remember when it came, but there was an event where u had to collect keys n u could choose the paths if u had the keys, the paths had as rewards mastery cores, it also had rocket as a gate keeper. I remember collecting quite a few cores to unlock few of the mastery setups n being a f2p gamer, It really helped me in my nascent stage.
The GoTG EQ when Vol 2 was released in theaters. The main EQ, Rocket's Workshop & Scrapyard, also was preceded by Dave Bautista Cosmic Challenge. Had a notable login calendar for the time as well. Definitely have fond memories of that event as a whole!
