I guess it depends on whether this is the 70s and 80s Batman knock off, or the later complex, partly insane version. This is a character that got better with age and I hope they give it the time it needs to develop.
What I’ve noticed about Disney channel is that it’s not that edgy or controversial.
By that I mean while it carries action films and shows none are overly violent or graphic.
I’m not sure what that means for Moon Knight. He can be pretty violent. He’s also got psychological issues that are dealt with greatly in the comic.
I’m not sure they’ll have the depth to explore that. They may have tone down the character. I hope not. But I can’t see them taking it as far as they need to

I’m Oscar Isaac, and you’re watching Disney+!
Bro. You’ll notice Disney owns a lot. A ton. They own the ABC network. They own touchstone. They have stakes in A&e and lots of others.
Some make sense not to add. I don’t think the target audience for Disney + wants Falcon crest.
But a lot of their offerings through other venues are violent or not quite family viewing. Moon knight as portrayed in the comics could not really be shown in family viewing.
It would need to along the lines of GOT or similar. If they can’t do that I don’t know how compelling it will be.

Considering one of the few things they have ever sold is Miramax, I’m inclined to agree.

Oh I know, just making a joke because you said Disney Channel.
However, i think what the site needs (and is possibly getting) is an adult section with films like Logan and Moulin Rouge.
There's a new rumor floating about that Marvel Studios is going to start a subdivision called 'Marvel Max' like that of DC Black with Joker. However I do believe that it will maintain MCU canon with a more adult target audience. In short, R rated division of Marvel. I would imagine Blade, Deadpool, and Punisher solo runs would be produced under that division.
Now, with that said, there's a chance Moon Knight could be too. Yes, it's going to be on Disney+. However... theoretically they could release an edgy, TV-MA series on Disney+ if they created a rating lock system. Doing both would serve 2 purposes. 1, sell more subs to adults that typically wouldn't care for Disney+ by offering content that's more adult oriented, and 2 help parents prevent their young ones from accidentally stumbling upon it.
As to Oscar Issac being cast as Moon Knight, well I'm intrigued. He's damn good IMO. Loved him in Sucker Punch. Only time will tell how dark they'll go with this series. At this point one can only hope it will be as dark as the comic version is.
