shouldv'e practiced it in duels before spending 2000 units on an endless road, if u've gone that far ur obviously raging and throwing units like crazy instead of duelling the champion and practicing the dexes

I did both the pre and post nerf fights. Pre nerf cost me 1 revive and post nerf none. Keep in mind I was using all 5* rank 4s. And no it's not completely awful. It's hard and annoying but not to the level you're making it. Requires skill. Tbh the most bs fight is collector imo.

Dang! I thought I'm gonna practice on him for 6.2.6 but now it's a no go (stupid heal block). Is 6.2.6 same as him?

Bro last month they had a whole section where you could practice against the champion boss for free and you're still struggling after the nerf, when guys like me had to finish it pre nerf and got laughable compensation for it. This has got to be the most ignorant post that I've seen in quite sometime. And I'm not saying that to be mean, I'm literally saying you don't understand how easy you have it compared to others.

@KraZyNuttZ what’s your team for the final 10%? The dex is the exact same you’ve practiced, you’re just letting the moment get in your head. Get a high block proficiency champ and just let him batter your block in the SP1 until the last moment.
Not many people are gonna agree with you on this fight anymore, especially since they’ve already tuned down this fight quite a bit.

Since they nerfed him, they also lowered block penetration. You don't have to run into him and dash back like it was before the nerf (wich was somewhat inconsistent in my experience). Block some hits and dex. Just heal to full hp, maybe run hp boost and hp&attack boost, if you're using some low rank champ. Good luck

There has got to be some bug in that fight. No way you couldn't complete it with 2000 units

The dex is exactly the same. They nerf this fight so hard it's pretty easy. I'm an average - below average player and I didn't use any units on this fight at all. I didn't even practice against him. If you can't do this, maybe it's a you problem and not a Kabam problem

Then you are very obviously not average. Get a grip
I did it post nerf so I would say I’m pretty average. I didn’t use any units but I did use revives so it wasn’t a perfect run. I’m not sure what you’re doing wrong but if you’re spending over 2000 units it’s either because you don’t have a counter or if you’re literally just standing there and taking the hits until you die.

The fight got nerfed completely into the ground and basically doesn’t exist....

It's wayyyy easier but saying it is non existent is just dishonest. You who has explored it might find it fun to do but for those who reach it first it's really frustrating to do u less you have the ideal counters
did it with a hood on my first run didnt even go back I wont say i didnt have to revive but I it wasnt the best counter and still did it

practise before going in a bit. thats necessary

so many people have already done it so someone suddenly saying the dex is just different won't hold true it just means the person is doing it wrong

forgot to mention it was pre nerf
I'm not defending OP. Just sating that the fight still exists. I could not do it pre nerf and have amssive repect for those who could. And I'm still not looking forward to doin that fight anytime soon
Honestly don’t worry.. post nerf this fight is beyond easy compared to what it was.

You no longer need to even try and evade. Just lock his level 1 and dodge last hit. A full health capiw, or og cap, or SS or doom (the list goes on) will easy survive and then just kill him with your special.

Even players with low skill should finish last 10% with max 1 revive and a couple of health pots. It is honestly silly easy now

The final champion in the summoner showdown thing (with the profile pic) is the best practice

I did the 1st fight against him pre-nerf.
Used max sig rank 5 cap beardo. The final 10% cost me 3k units, due largely cause I was a noob with minimal skills, I just couldn’t get the timing right for the dex/evade.
Got more frustrated with every failed attempt, which just ended up with costing me more units.

I fully cleared the quest post-nerf, had to restart the prove yourself path a couple of times before I got it right.
For the final 10% you can now use any high block proficiency champ, just block the majority of the sp1 and dex the headbut. I boosted up for every fight, they’re in the game for a reason, so use them.
Post-nerf is a world of difference compared to the pre-nerf.

@Mauled he's the the same champion from summoner showdown thing. The problem with him is heal block node (I'm running suicides) I get him down to 10% with roughly 30% health remain on my champ and from there poison just kill me before I get 3 dex that's why I've stopped practicing on him.

@Epistriatus been using the same method for dex mate

I used Symbiote supreme as well. Had 4 points in MD and used a Class power boost. Whole fight was a breeze. Around last 10%, I just held my block during his specials and dexed the last action of special(3 times). Post nerf, the best thing now is that block penetration is so gimped

Yeah I was practicing myself on the convention clash (I've completed act 6 bt need to explore) and could reliably get him down to 10% in one fight but several issues

    1. it's a timed fight of 5 minutes
    2. you're only allowed to use up to 5* champs - no 6* (so i couldn't practice with my 6r2 sig 20 Sym Supreme- had to use 5* Sorcerer supreme)
    3. Heal prevention global - so practicing with Sorcerer supreme, her main advantage to heal when hit on the block (a third of her kit) literally was useless.

Not sure why they had this global heal prevention node in every single side quest this month - glad I wasn't running suicides.

I wonder if The Cham[ion pre nerf was stronger than the grandmaster

Stronger as he hit hard? For sure. Harder as in more skill based? Quite debatable, but the fight was defintley harder overall than GM. Both fights I enjoyed though, Now champion is much much easier.

I just finished my first completion of this fight. Spent 700+ units. I won’t 100% act 6 until it is over simplified.

The part that got me was the unblockable medium attacks. For whatever reason, he was being very defensive and not responding to backdraft intercepts at all. I would dash back in and meet a fist to the dome.

Not sure about the name of the technique, but basically when you are at opposite ends of the arena and try to time your medium to intercept him at just the right time. Anyway, that didn’t work either. He would either intercept me or just continue to block.

Final 10% sucked, but not nearly as bad as the phase before it.

Yeah, I noticed that the funky AI of nowadays makes fights like the Champion and grandmaster way harder than originally.
