Don't worry, duping is not compulsory, it just makes him a lot better. He's already good now even without the dupe. As for rotation, I first use his Sp3 to gain the Armour Break and Stun, then use his Heavy to stop the Power Drain. You'll now be above 2 Power Bars, so use his Sp2, block some hits (that'll give you lots of Power), use Heavy, rinse and repeat. The Power Gain Buff from his Sp2 will allow you to stay above 2 Bars almost always.
Looks better with the tune-up. I am still relying on sp3, heavy, sp3, heavy ...
