R3 LONGshot vs symbiote supreme

Which would be better to rank 3 ? Long shot or symbiote supreme and why ? Does long shot need the dupe ?

I would say Longshot but I'll sum up both:

Longshot
-specific playstyle w lot of heavies
-insane damage in short bursts, has a short buildup phase
-doesn't need enemy to have buffs
-no rng aspect
-is screwed when sb has incinerate immune
-doesn't need dupp

Symbiote Supreme
-probably more utility (dmg cap)
-heavily rng (staggers)
-has a rampup phase (up to sp3 and then smashes)
-it can be a problem when enemy is bleed immune
-the dupp is very useful, although not absolutely necessary

My personal opinion: Longshot all the way. I have a r3 5* Symbiote and I hate it. It's boring, it has stupid RNG which makes it unreliable. I tested it against The Champion (6.2) in that one side event for Ægon pfp and I failed because of bad rng couple times. Imho, Longshot is better choice here.

However I suggest you test out both and decide based on what you like. There are people who love SymSup and they can do incredible things with him.

I haven't got long shot past r3 yet, but when it's arena time I love using him.....something about watching the health bar go down that fast is such a good feeling. I'm one who thinks sym supreme is great in all but he's the most over praised, hyped and simp'd champ in mcoc history.....and I'm sure the SS simps will attack me because they are great with him.....but there's people out there that are great with khamala kahn.....doesn't make her a champ I want... RanK up who you like more

Depends on what your requirements are.. If you need a good mystic champ in general then sym supreme is good.
If you need a good all-around champ, then longshot is good. Longshot is one of the fastest quest clearing champs.

Longshot.

If they have buffs and bleed, Sym melts them. If they don't have buffs, don't use Sym. Really though, running him without MD and/or against a champ with no buffs is a terrible experience.

I’d go Longshot. My Sym Sup has stayed near level 1 since I got him as a six star.

Personal preference territory. Longshot is also arguably better unduped.

I’ll beat the drum for Longshot every day. On top of what people already said about him, he bypasses nodes like mystic ward which is very helpful.
