I think we have done the right thing voicing as a collective we dont want relic's RNG based.
But i wont just say "NO" to relics. The concept if released properly could add a layer of depth to the game & builds that might actually enhance my enjoyment.
The only 2 things i can see from relics ruining the experience for everyone is. 1. RNG based chance to get relics from crystals. 2. Only obtainable in limited time events.
I think the problem comes when only whales or overly skilled players have the chance to get any good equipment....
It would just widen the gap further and turn people off.
I think most people will be fine with RNG too. Just that it shouldn't be borderline paywalled like t5cc earlier.
I prefer to offer suggestions rather than complaints.
My suggestions to kabam are: 1. No RNG on relics 2. Be transparent 3. have some as unlockable rewards for completing objectives / milestones. Like carina's challenges- 4. dont have a time limit to complete any said objectives.... let people unlock them at their own pace. 5. If you want people to pay for them... have a store / tab section.... like masteries... let people know what they are getting for their money......before they spend it. 6. No RNG stats on equipment. 7. Show all relics ingame- both unobtained/acquired... i want to know what relics exist in game at all times...no secrets or deceptions. 9. Add relics with the objective being adding depth and enjoyment and versatility of play to peoples builds and rosters. 9.Do not add relics as blatently obvious planned obsolescence scheme..... if i pay for something in time or money i would like it to still have some use later on.... 11. Nothing is wrong with adding content and new things to the game. But do it in a way that makes us feel like you value the experience & enjoyment of people that play your game rather than an how can i milk every last penny out of these suckers approach.
My thoughts on relics is that they could replace the max sig crystal and 7 star shards everyone seemw to want. May be you could random relic after sig 200 of a champ which depends on the class you dupe. That does not sound so bad.

Kabam screwed up royally when they got rid of the ability to sell your Champions. I don’t care what anybody out there says, That really screwed things up for me And all my friends who are forced to keep these stupid gay characters!
Don’t necro posts that are over a year old. Also, there are people in this community that may take offense to your poor choice of words. Obviously you don’t care and I’m not going to say you have to tiptoe around anyone’s feelings, but when you can convey the same emotion with different and better words it is a good idea to do so.
