@Gipsy_Danger , UKW, I don't even Qualify for Sector 4 and 5.
Dude i saw ur rooster pic u posted u do qualify u have op champs
I qualify for Sector 6 and 7. So I don't benefit anything from playing 4 or 5. Nevertheless, I could probably help you, but you probably should make a thread in the Incursions section. You surely would get more people to join you.
He's quite a solid champion. His miss ability is nice, but only 45% chance to miss makes it a bit, unreliable. Critical hits stagger opponents, which when don't nullify a buff, siphon certain amount of health on expiry.
Heavies refresh Hex, Bleed, Shock or Stagger that Hood has placed. This could be important if you want to dish out damage from the DOT. You would most likely want to heavy often.
SP1. Shocks the opponent, deals decent damage, and on expiry, stuns opponent for 3 seconds, which can't interrupt their special attacks.
SP2. Hexes and Fate seals the opponent. Hex reduces 65% Ability accuracy, and Fate Seal prevents buff activation.
SP3. 75% more damage for each full bar of power the opponent has. Inflicts a strong bleed too.
You should make use of his abilities as you need. Need AAR? SP2 should do good. Short fights? SP1 should be good enough to do great work, along with some heavies being weaved in to refresh them. Long fight? SP3, SP1 and heavies should do good.
I would really love to have him as a 5 star, decent champ by himself and also would go well with my 6* Ghost.
thank you for this breakdown. So is the consensus that hood is a good champ? I thought he was broken with some of the back and forth buffs. I'm asking b/c I have an awakened 5 star with tons of mystic resources, but no good mystic champs.
I already completed 626 champion and the villain variant, but I Haven't done the mystic variants.
Would Hood be a good option for the mystic variants? And is he now considered a solid champ?

He's pretty decent is all I could say. The fact that his recovery time from his heavy is too long is a drawback. Hope they reduce it. Except that, he should do good for you @thanks4playing .
Now that you're Hood is awakened, he steals power from the opponent and is stun-immune while Invisibility is in cooldown. It's not very high, but it surely makes a change.
Ok Thanks, But i got a few rank up gems a few hrs ago. So, i took havok and kingpin to rank 3 5 star. Dude, i duped my 4 star spider gwen got a bunch of iso8 science type and 5 star shards. Also i got the thing from 6 star hero crystal. He is strong? i think he is ok right? He is my second 6 star should i use him?? Im waiting to rank 4 my 5 stars lol. @The_beast123

Woah, where did you get a 2nd 6 star from this soon? Nevertheless, Thing is great, and people often say he needs high sig. I personally have the feel it's a much of a safety net, and it has nothing to do with his damage.

I got him from six star shard crystal. I already had 2k 6 star shards remaining. I got a lil lucky in legendary and epic difficulty in this months side quest langurian castle rift and completed uncollected difficulty of monthly quest(didnt yet 100% explore) This is how i grinded shards for my second six star champ. Ok, so the thing has a decent damage?
A 6 star rank 1 is an equivalent of a 5 star rank 4 ( Actually a lil bit more) and Thing is immune to so many things, so he should be really great in ACT 6 and above. Unblockable specials are useful too.
You could use the Unstoppable to counter stun-immunes. He does have good base attack rating too.

As I told earlier, try making a thread for this.

Good luck with the Variant!
