I'm sorry to do this, but this discussion has seriously gone off the rail into a discussion based on the definition of a single word. The OP was bringing information they'd learned about at NYCC to share with all of you. There had been a few comments regarding it, questions too -- However, it was primarily argumentive towards the definition of a word.The OP was quoting what was said, arguing the word usage doesn't change what they were told or how. Please be respectful of one another and their discussions. This one is being closed for the derailing that occurred.
