I haven't beaten him yet, but I managed to get him down to about 30% with Archangel. His neurotoxins made it feel like a very standard fight, even if it was still hard as hell. But it completely shut down everything on Mr. Sinister. No regen, no shocks, no debuff reflection.
Until the neuros fall off and something manages to trigger. Having all of those bleeds and poisons reflected back at you mid-fight is...annoying.
I'll probably switch to suicides and do another run later in the week.
Used AA r5, about 130 hits. No suicides. Bit sketchy at times because i was relying on one neuro to shut off the debuff transfer since I can't evade the sp2 but it worked, miraculously. Wasn't expecting AA to be viable for any SoP fights so I'm happy.
You need to time your dashback as soon as he thrusts his hands forward for the beam.
Thanks. I plan to use this Sinister to practice dexing it
I tested out my 6*R2 awakened Thing (suicides on). Awakened Thing is an EXTREMELY safe option, given you can comfortably and reliably parry Sinister's SP1.
Parrying the projectile allowed Thing's protection to activate, so the parry damage from Sinister's SP1 would deal about 250 damage to me and then I would actually end up healing more than that from willpower and the reduced poison damage while protection is active.
Think I ate like 6 SP1s without dying. I went from 20% to 40% health at one point and from 40% to 60% health at another point....reduced poison damage during protection and willpower = really good time.
The fight took about 450-475 hits (sorry, forget the exact number but it was in this range). Very safe fight but also pretty boring. Just make sure you aren't parrying too often in the beginning so that you can build up the 60 passive fury and remember you won't be able to use any specials.

Also, Thing completely ignores E.M.P Modification.
