I also think that Mr Sinister has a good base kit that could be improved with higher numbers
I really do love the kit, but what makes him interesting is also his weakness, because you need at least three fights to see benefits from the kit, but getting those three wins is rough

Trust me, Emma doesn’t need a buff whatsoever. Already top 6/7 mutant
I'm sorry, Emma a top 7 mutant?? She's good but she cannot compete with the likes of Apocalypses, Magneto, Omega Red, Archangel, Colossus, Sunspot, Namor, Professor X, Stryfe... the list goes on. She is good but Mutant is way too overpowered

The real answer here is Morningstar. A fully ramped MS is insane, the problem is the rampup. If this was more user friendly, she would easily jump to a top 2 mystic.
My top 5 to just tune up/make more user friendly would be:
Proxima - missions in any order and a bit more block proficiency ideally some form of nullify resistance would be nice because if she loses a prowess/fury her damage is hideous.
VtD - change his buff cycle so if you finish a combo on a medium you get an offensive buff (fury/precision), light = defensive (armour up, perfect block), heavy = utility (regen, power gain). I think this would make his ramp up so much less painless as I think the main reason he’s not used regularly is because that first fight ends up taking 10 minutes while you continuously roll the dice.
Gulk - just needs more damage. His face me damage output should be his standard damage level and it still wouldn’t be that impressive.
Nebula - far higher block proficiency and a way to not release shock charges prematurely, e.g. release on a light ending combo and then combo into sp1/2
Phoenix - damage increase, her incinerates should actually do more than me waving a lighter at somebody and she should be incinerate immune in the way Surfer is so it can feed her if you run willpower.
Out of all of these Proxima probably needs the least but she’s my favourite champion and I think that tiny tweak would make her perfect.
@Mauled while I agree on vtd the heavy choosing a buff type doesn’t work as it also banks the buff?
Maybe a Shang chi style where MM, MLM, MLLM combos are the trigger for buff type changing works better. That way your normal MLLLM or MLLL type combos and heavies are unaffected.

I originally thought value buff meant number tweaking, but Kabam value buff seems to include everything up to new signatures.
Cull: High Block Prof (combo-chainable heavies would be better, as parry-heavy is becoming less viable)
Namor: Lower his Bleed chance
Doctopus: Increase the potency and duration of his effects
Luke Cage: Decrease Indestructible cool down (by half, at least), and guarantee an Exhaustion every hit. Lol.
Not saying these need it, but I don't consider them proper Gods. Anymore, at least.

None of them really “need” it, but slight changes to buff duration or a damage increase would make all 3 so much more useable.
