Yeah it's absolutely legit. He started out with much less and slowly built up his bike. He uses the pedal power to charge the devices as he goes.

All they had to do to avoid multiple accounts smashing the gifting event was to replace the units with something of equal value.

If that was their reason, then it's like they booked a flight to their neighbor's house to avoid walking for 20 seconds.

I'm in agreement with OP - there should be grace days for things that come up in rea life, as there were last year. The final set of rewards should be more basic eg 100 6* shards vs the main prizes.

Yes the pass provides this but not everyone can pay - if anything let the passes give more race days than on average to give them that monetary benefit.

Get a grip. U want days off pay £5 and buy e booster pack. That gives u the grace days

I don’t think you understand how games like this work . Kabam is not your friend , it’s not someone nice who wants you to have fun . Kabam wants you to get addicted so they will squeeze as much money as possible out of your wallet . That’s it . That’s their entire goal . Treat this game the same way you would treat a casino because this is exactly what they are

And not being able to pick up objectives that you've earned because a new day rolls around, if true, is just BS.

My phone broke and I haven't played MCOC in about a month and this is what I come to, me not being able to get all rewards because Kabam decided "Hey, let's appreciate our summoners by giving them no grace day and making them pay money for all of the rewards, the F2P can f off."
Yea, looks like I'm going to extend my break from this game made by EA.

He can enjoy the game and still be negative. . But, he is not entirely false, Kabam wants to make money, but they also want to give entertaining content for people to play and make them money. If there were grace days, there was no reason to buy the booster I think it was called. I think everyone would have preferred if there were grace days, some of us just don't feel the need to complain that it is not there.

This isn’t just about doing the fights, I did the 10 fights I just forgot to claim the objective and when the next days objective was supposed to show up I didn’t get one

But I get it. Now you need to do something with your 20 side accounts to get the 1200 free units you can gift yourself at the gifting event.

You can argue all day about whether it's reasonable to expect someone to log in daily for 98 days to play 10 fights, but what I don't think you can argue is how unbelievably bad this decision looks from a player perspective.

Taking an event that previously was called "summoner appreciation" that had grace days, then removing the grace days for free and charging for them this year is unbelievably bad optics. I won't buy this deal on principle.

At the end of the day, OP is posting a recommendation to Kabam to make things more player friendly.

Kabam, as a business, is under no obligation to take that recommendation. What is ridiculous is the number of posters here defending a player unfriendly design choice (compared to Summoner Appreciation calendar).

If this was a completely new event, then the design, while still player unfriendly, would not be front and center. But the fact that it is replacing Summoner Appreciation (down to the rewards for FTP players), really highlights how this is Summoner UNappreciation. What was once free (Grace periods) is now behind a paywall.

Again, as a business, Kabam can do what it wants. But the complaint here is how consumer unfriendly it is, with a suggestion of how to make it more consumer friendly. But you got all these responders here saying the consumer unfriendly design is not a problem for them.

A lot of the responses that ignore the point of asking for Grace period use the idea of "it is not a problem for ME." That is not a valid response to the argument that is being presented.

It is like saying, "This building has a two story flight of stairs to the front door. I can walk up the stairs just fine, why are there people asking for a handicap ramp?"

Events like this are a thank you because we PLAY the game.

You can reach everything in the game without playing 10 fights a day. Most sq entries stack up and can be done in one go. Only content that needs to be done daily are alliance content and those fights don't contribute to the objectives.

It was not on you bro... The notification is bugged, it doesn't show the completed objective, we have to manually find it and claim it, that's how I missed my day too.
I myself claim everything as I go.

It’s not like I’m asking them to add appreciation it’s just them removing an appreciation event for an event you have to pay money for, I thought it was a nice thing that they did for the players that didn’t need to change
