Don’t care much cause don’t use either of the champs in war. But this method of dealing with strong champs is unhealthy for the game
This is the best way to do it. You'd rather they flat out actually nerfed the champs so they'd be worse in all content or just adding a node in one mode that prevents them from being the main boss killers in every BG in almost every Alliance?
I also heard they're going to release another EQ next month that nerfs characters that aren't the right class type. They're nerfing everything, everything!
Why do you bother commenting? For real. Your comments are far from productive. If you have something useful to add in this discussion then go ahead and comment. If not, please stop.
We already have all kinds of areas of the game where you cannot use certain champions, at all, or effectively.
Can you elaborate and give some examples?
Cav EQ has a laundry list of examples with each path being difficult to defeat without adhering to class types.
Variants have some hard locks and soft locks
AQ has many damage reduction nodes without the right type of debuff of attack type
Buffed up exists, diss track exists, mostly in Act 6 I believe

AW Boss already had true strike, stopping Quake.
In Act 6,7, Variants, Cavalier EQ you have 5 spots in the team, not 3.
In AQ you can still use whatever champ you want. It just gonna take more time and maybe some timeouts
What is the relevance of 3 or 5 spots on the team, related to whether champs are locked out of content?
If you want to argue semantics about who you can bring to AQ, fine. No one says you can't being Quake or Ghost to AW boss island, you just can't play them normally.
Now we're in territory that is helpful to neither sides arguments, because we're arguing technicalities.
Instead of giving us incentive to use other champs, they prefer to nerf Quake, Ghost and Tigra
We're any of these champs fundamental abilities changed?
for war, yes. And War is one of the biggest games modes in the game.
@Dissapointed No, not a single ability is change. There is a node that COUNTERS certain abilities. This is nothing new. It's been happening in the game since this game started. It's in every aspect of this game through champ abilities, synergies and nodes.

Finally it happened. To be honest, it was high time to happen. Also, the player base should be glad they didn’t extended this node usage to further content, at least for now. It’s understandable that Quake and Ghost can’t be directly nerfed, but there should be side limiting factors to their (ab)use in content. Liking or not the changes, anyone understands and knows, that those two champs needed something to regulate them from their absolute dominance in the game for all these years. It’s surely better than a direct nerf undoubtedly.
Not a nerf. But just make an anti quake and ghost node and be done with it. No reason to punish champs like Tigra for this
This is nice and blunt; I like it!
Kabam could just stop pretending that these nodes are anything other than counter-measures for certain champs and just affect those champs specifically.
It's not like it has to stay season-by-season. They could just take turns blacklisting certain champs on certain nodes. Mainly the boss areas, though. Given investment, they should still be able to clear lanes.
Sometimes a champ just dominates the meta, but taking indirect measures hurts champs that didn't have issues. Tigra was a good example. I don't use her, but watching people who do is fun and she certainly isn't easy. Why bomb champs like her when you can just deal with the problem directly?
Mind, this is coming from someone who uses Quake and Ghost daily. I'll be honest and say that they're my crutches.

This coming from a guy who just took his 6* Ghost to R3

Understand what “nerf” means. Just nerfed for war
What they are currently doing is just cowardly. They need to harden up and deal with it once and for all.
