Definitely worthy since there’s no 6* version, but not the auto rank-up he used to be. Prob top 8-12 in skill class and trending down

Depends on your roster & where you are in the game. You won't find much use for him in act 6 & beyond.
He's still very usable at max sig in many other parts of the game. Can't think of another skill champ that can regen like Blade can.
That said, there's obviously quite a few skill champs you should prioritise ahead of him.

Depends on what you already have in your roster and what content you are trying to clear.

Nah, can’t imagine a single use for him that another skill champ can’t do better other than regen. Blade was one of my first five stars and my second r4, but he’ll never see r5.

Yeah. He’s still a very good champion, especially awakened, and especially with his synergy partners. Is he a champion that you’re going to use everyday as an endgame player? No.
If you’re working through Act 5 and the early parts of Act 6, however, he’s a fantastic option for more limited rosters. If you have both danger sense synergies you can make the end bosses of all 5.4 and most of 6.1-6.2 into very favourable match ups if you don’t have the perfect options.
Blade’s problem now is that he’s not a specialist in a game where specialism is what is sought after highly at the endgame level, which is one of the reasons he’s fallen out of the meta.

Well, I have already 30 R5's, and 10+ R2, so I kind of have specialists. I, personally, don't want to rank him, but I never used him, so I wanted to ask more experienced folks. Guess he stays on bench, if you say to rank only for act 5/early act 6 accounts.

I've used him a for a few fights here and there. If there's a villain heavy lane or Do You Bleed or something he might come out to play, but in most cases there's better options about for specific match ups. I wouldn't R5 him with your roster unless you're missing Torch and can't quake

    He's still useful.
And since a 6* is very unlikely to arrive, the 5*s all you got. Might as well r5 him.
