Except for the fact that aside from damage she has absolutely nothing to bring to the table that she didn’t already have. And in some aspects, sp3 and heal, she actually brings less to the table.

Not to mention the fact that she has a parry heavy playstyle which, with her low block proficiency and revamped heal, isn’t sustainable.

Winter soldier hit count isn’t a good test of a champion, especially one who does parry heavy. Especially since the real test of a champion is how good they are in content

She also has full synergies and suicides, making an already unreliable test even more unreliable.

Basically, showing the ideal scenario of a champion and just showing off their damage isn’t going to prove much, if anything. The only insanity I’m seeing here is a buff that takes a champion and increases their damage, but decreases their utility.

Right, but the lack of utility was always the issue. Her inability to combat any challenge outside of regeneration was and still is her biggest weakness. Nobody has been claiming that new Guilly traded our her sword for a pool noodle, they’ve been saying that new sword can only go to the same places that the old one already could.

Guillotine is great for carving through dumb AI with no nodes and no special 3. Hooray. I’m sure the practical applications of that will return in the next story/variant content. Until then, she will continue, as she always has, to be useful only up until *maybe* Act 5.

Clickbait video. That rotation is not overlooked. In fact, it was discovered on day 1 of her buff being live. It's an impractical, unrealistic rotation.

And her damage was never the biggest point of criticism of her buff.

Adds something to my teams that I need - no

For those reasons she's going to stay at r1/l1

Then you’re missing the entire point of all of the negative feedback of Guilly’s buff. Almost nowhere are people genuinely saying the only issue with the buff is damage. There is that conversation too, but the main issue is her utility being not only not-increased, but in places decreased.

Also, maybe don’t call people dumb, just a thought.

The damage was also there before, except increased expontentially, from a 2*.

I tend to stop when I see suicides running because most people don't run them and it's not a real indicator of a champ with suicides on. and i don't know why but i just think her animations are clunky ..thy are not smooth when performing attacks .. there's some slight awkwardness in animation.

anyway ... I tried her out post buff extensively and I just couldn't justify putting resources into her.

Did you watch the video? Vega spends the last 2 minutes explaining that he’s still disappointed in the buff because it completely failed in the utility and regen department, which is his and the community’s biggest gripe

Sure, the damage is there. That was never in question. Kam was using this rotation day 1.

Damage doesn't make a champion. Sure she has damage through that playstyle but:

a) No utility to accompany it
b) Tons of chip damage
c) Actually nerfed regen makes it harder to regain that chip damage
d) A ton of champions have amazing damage output while having atleast some niche but extremely valuable utility at the very least

What a funny video.

Vega tested vs 3 champs with no actual nodes on them. Those two Act 6 enemies are base champs with no annoying nodes to them but Champion boost in attack and health.

When her buff came out I showed my alliance and other Line chats this SAME rotation and told them I still wasn't impressed. Like at all.

Here's the issue. If you wanna say now she's an amazing damage champ then her issue is other champs can do the damage better and have actual utility.

Colossus is a parry heavy champ and he has WAYYY more utility than she does. Red Mags same also. Why am I using Guilly over Colossus, Mags, Hyperion, Hulkbuster, Archangel, Prof X, Domino (with Trinity), etc if I want a Parry + Heavy champ?

This thread really comes off as someone who never really played Guilly before her change otherwise you'd know her damage was MUCH higher before than now even if it took longer before. Difference before is, you could stay at 100% health while building her souls up to end enemies with her SP3 due to her old regen.

Act 7.3 coming out soon so you can do some showcase of her buff and in AQ and AW feel free to put your Doom, Black Window CV and Diablo down and bring her in and let me know how great she is i would love to see so i can learn .
