How about introducing Thronebreaker-crystals?

I know it has been talked about several times. But at the state of the game in my opinion it's time to rethink about an update for the Cavalier-crystals and give the higher player the possibility to purchase Thronebreaker-crystals.

As a Thronebreaker with 100 or more 6* you can invest 175 Units to have the summarized probability of 3% to get another 6* but 50% for a complete useless 3*. That's not attractive. Only for someone how just started the game maybe.

This would be a good output rate for a Thronebreaker-crystal:

40% - 4*
10% - Legendary (4* or 5*)
30% - 5*
12% - Mythic (5* or 6*)
5% - 6*
3% - 6* Nexus

Even if it's around 300 units to purchase, it would be attractive.

    I think there are much better ways to invest 300 units

    Maybe, but not if you have already fully explored content. 300 was just an idea. 200 would be better imo.
    If you have all masteries unlocked, all content explored, then sure, why not. But I can't speak from other position than my own, and I have still Act 6+7 to explore, as well as doing AoL, LoL and exploring Variants. So from my subjective POV it makes no sense. I also can't really judge how many people are f2p (bcs that plays a big role as well) and how many have actually explored everything as you said. That's why I voted what I voted

    Oh, I myself haven't fully explored anything, there are still some paths in Act 6, Act 7 and in 2 Variants. Not to talk about Abyss. It's more about 'why should I spent units for Cavalier-crystala - give us something worth it'.

    I want a crystal with less probability of 3 stars and more of 6 stars but I doubt they would make a similar crystal for only 300 units considering there is also the featured cavalier crystal that costs 300 units and is way worse than that. They changed the rates of cavs only few months ago, I doubt they will change something now for something as good as you want.

    I promise you don't have to explain the fact that the game needs people to spend to survive. However seeing as how one of the most common complaints in this game is the massive gap between spenders and non spenders, I don't think adding something to increase that gap even further would end up going down particularly well even if people think it would be good.

    Why should there be an increase? The endgame-players only go for new champs in crystals. It is a possbility to narrow that gap by playing arena and grind for units for TB-crystals

    I tnought Kabam said in a dev diary that they were not doing this any tie soon. But otherwise sure no one is gonna say they prefer getting 3-star champs.

    I know that they said this, but I think it's time to take a step back and analyse if it wouldn't be better to do it anyway.

    Unlikely they’ll ever cut 3* out of progresión crystals because they act to “stabilize the game economy”. They could create a TB Crystal with a diminished 3* rate, but they’ll still be a possibility.

    You would basically get roughly the same statistical result if you just upgraded all Cav crystals to Nexus crystals.

    Which at the moment has zero chance of happening.

    I have to vote yes to this! It’s totally unfair to the TB not to have something of their own. They have work hard on getting that tile and count less hours doing so. Break down Kabam and give the TB their own crystal!
