Sorry to hear about the death of ROC for all who played it and worked on the game. Hopefully for my selfish sake they still add the cosmic and science ROC characters to complete the story in MCOC

Lol I tried but it was already pulled from the store. I put a decent amount of time into that game, and honestly didn’t hate it. I hope that I linked everything 😅

It had the bones of a good game somewhere in there. I think it needed three things: more variety in gameplay, possibly more content where you weren’t reliant on teammates, and a faster means of increasing your standing. But I could be talking out of my behind on this one, I only played until the Captain America faction came out.

I’d still love to see the cosmic and science champions from MRoC come to MCoC to close out that chapter.

Yeah I had to search for it on Google play and only found it via recommend. You also may be able to find it in previously downloaded or cloud depending on device

They added a Solo Mode where you fought with your own characters and triggered their Ultimates whenever you wanted, and War Thor’s Crucible where you got tons of gear for each specific character

Again, it’s all moot now and you were honest about not necessarily knowing what was done

And perhaps it would have gone better if those things were available at launch

But at the same time, they did add things to address quite a few concerns. Just not enough players

It might be tricky to add a Science character, unless they brought in Skaar, who was a Baron/Boss level character, or Madame Web (Gwen Stacy), who was also a Baron/Boss level character. It’s not impossible to bring in their champions, a different Hulk or Web Warrior, but they wouldn’t necessarily be different than any other Hulk or Spider-Man in the game. President Carter was also a Baron/Boss, with her champions in that game just Super Soldiers like Civil Warrior, who’s obviously already in MCoC. Don’t think they would just bring in another person with a shield, though they could, I suppose — they do have a Hydra Cap build

The only Cosmic character would face the same issue — they could bring in War Thor, who was a Baron/Boss. Her champion was simply a Thor, though they could bring in another one with the Astor breaker axe if they wanted

Does this mean kabam will focus more on mcoc and some designers will join the team??
    Thoughts?

If you're asking if some MROC developers will join the MCOC team, possibly. But if you're implying that Kabam was diverting resources to MROC and now MCOC will get those back somehow, no. MCOC and MROC shared some resources, community people for example, but it is unlikely they shared content developers. I doubt if anyone's attention was drawn to MROC and now it can go back to being MCOC full time. And furthermore, the people Kabam hired to develop and maintain MROC are not just Kabam employees they can redeploy however they want. Remember that Kabam is not an independent company, they are just a studio working for Netmarble. People who were working on MROC are not people Kabam can simply ask to do something else. Netmarble funded those positions for that game, and when that game vanishes those positions vanish as well. Netmarble is not going to want to keep paying for them once the game is gone. Some might fill open positions related to MCOC at Kabam, some might move to other developments going on at Kabam, but if there's no chair when the music stops, they will have to find other work.

That's the life of a game developer.
    Very well said.
