Did anyone see the cav deal? Completely different from the TB version.
5* sig stones instead of 6*, 120k T2A fragments (4k per day), and then 10% T5CC selector, 25% of T5B and 6* basic crystal as signing bonus.
The TB one is better relative value, but the Cav one seems decent to me.
The TB got more than 2x the value in resources. 15k 6* shards more, 2 full t5c is 100x better than a 10% selector. 3 full t5b compare to 25% of a t5b.
Cav offers should be compared to the resources the game targets towards Cav players and TB offers should be compared to the resources the game targets towards TB players. At the moment there is no monthly TB tier difficulty, so the primary measure for TB rewards are things like Act 7 rewards. The difference between the offers and the rewards available to the two tiers of player on average are comparable. The TB offer is a bit better on that relative basis, but not wildly so.
Also, two T5CC crystals is 20x better than a 10% selector, not 100x better numerically. But even that overstates the progressional gap because by the time a Cav has 10 of those they can *become* TB and open the door to TB rewards. In other words, ten 10% T5CC selectors is more game changing to a Cav than two T5CC crystals are to someone already TB. In relative terms, just a few 10% selectors can be more game changing to a Cav than two full T5CC crystals can be to most TBs. It is that relative value that matters, not the arithmetic value.

I am only going by a photo but it show only 1 10% selector.
I bought it, it was too good not too but I agree. R4s in general are a pay to have feature right now, ideally this means an increase to monthly questing rewards that gets closer to this or a TB difficulty is coming soon. Because it’s goofy that I can get abyss rewards without doing anything other than logging in.
This is pretty close to the 2021 Thanksgiving $50 unit deal. For $50, both got you 6 T2a, 3 T5b. That deal got you a bunch of units.
This one gets you 10k 6-stars (vs 7500) instantly, plus an additional 15k over 30 days. You also get some sig stones over time, and Cavalier Nexus as opposed to a 6-star nexus.
The main differentiator seems to be that this one gives you two full T5cc crystals.
Very tempting. On the one hand, I don't have the materials to R4 (the T3a and whatnot), and I don't strictly need to R3 champions. On the otherhand, I do have a chokepoint of R2's that are R3 worthy.
Cavalier offer is more than decent I believe, let's not forget that if ppl got a full t5cc they ll (probably) be able to jump on the TB train already, so 10% is pretty nice. The only thing I disagree with the items offered to them, is the t5 basic shards, they should have at least one full of.
I am only going by a photo but it show only 1 10% selector.
Yes?
So if Someone want to spend 50 bucks, you really think most would prefer that 10% to form a t5c over 2 full t5c? I don’t think so.
No one has that choice, and the offers are not structured that way. You think anyone would prefer the Proven offers to the Thronebreaker offers in general? Of course not. But Proven players get Proven offers, Cavalier players get Cav offers, and Thronebreaker players get TB offers. Would I spend on the Cav offer? Not as a TB. But as a Cav, I might have, because that offer presents reasonable value for Cav players. Not everyone would agree, but not everyone agrees the TB offer is worth buying either.
If you're comparing the Cav offer to the TB offer directly, you're doing it wrong. If you're a Cav player and you prefer the TB offer, become TB. If you're a TB player and you prefer the TB offer, of course you do.
For Cavalier players, the first T5CC they form is worth more to them than any T5CC I get now. Between all my R3s and all the T5CC I have now, the two in the offer will be R3 #25 and #26. Do you think my 25th and 26th R3 is worth more to me than the first R3 means to a Cav player? Proportionately speaking, I'm increasing my R3 roster by about 8%. A player who hasn't formed their first R3 yet is increasing their progress towards their first R3 by at least 10% if not more with every 10% selector. I have 8% more of what I already have a lot of. A Cav player picking up the offer is bound to be at least 10% closer to a game-changing event.
To put it another way, a 10% T5CC selector for a player who is still working to form their first R3 has similar value to a Cavalier player as 60% of a T6B has to a Thronebreaker player working to form their first R4 (10% of the R4 cats is 10% of 300% of each, or about 30% of each, or roughly 60% of one on average). That's the real equivalency, but the TB offer doesn't contain that. Instead, the Cav offer contains a selector for the highest value catalyst appropriate for Cav players, but it only contains a pair of crystals for moderately high value catalysts for Thronebreakers. Because the Cav offer contains ultra high value catalyst fragments for Cavs, but the TB offer doesn't contain ultra high value catalyst fragments for Thronebreakers, you can't just compare the two directly and claim one falls short of the other. That's not an apples to apples comparison, even though the name of the thing is the same.

It's all relative and these t5cs are not worth what they were in 2020. Many Thronebreakers have 30+ r3s now and while the offer is nice it's not account changing. Players are chasing r4 materials, this deal sold the second best stuff.
Relative indeed, if I was cav the 10% selector and other stuff in the deal might push me over to tb, or get me close, good stuff for a cav.
As a tb with 26 r3s and 1 r4, this Offer isn’t account changing at all but it has hella value and get me 2 more r3s. Puts me at the point where I’m bringing champs I enjoy to r3, or champs that are niche.
I know as a community a lot of bad vibes are surrounding kabamm and issues about the game but this is the best offer ever for a daily, sure it could be a distraction but I’ll take it. The game needs money to survive.. i like the game.
Dude! Lighten up. This is objectively a good offer for where the game economy is. If you don’t want/cannot spend then it’s ok. Don’t have to feel sad because of that. It’s just a game. Enjoy what the F2P have.

What does the FTP have?
A completely free game that someone else pays for.

I've never understood the "it's not fair on free to play".
The people who buy these offers literally fund the game so that you can play it, free of charge.
If you are free to play, you should be hoping that everyone else buys these, or at least contributes somewhere in payment, as otherwise, you have no game to play.

All that said too good to pass up.

I might just slip out of being a very very very light P2W for a little bit
Its so disgusting to see this happening
