    Wait for the input issues to be resolved before taking the plunge.
    I use an iPad and love it but the performance is terrible at the moment.

    Get a new iPhone 13
    I have an iPad and an iPhone 13. Not really a fan of the game on the iPad tbh. Get less champs/row on screen which makes it look a bit clunky and it’s just a lot bigger in my hands

    Not worth it
    It does depend what ipad you want. I have bought the regular ipad 2021 a couple weeks back. Before that I played on a budget/midrange android and an iphone 8 plus. For me, the experience is better. But the odd screen ratio, an older chip (13 instead of 14) and less RAM will result in a worse experience for you I believe.
    For me it was a step up. But only ever so slightly from an iphone 8 plus. Iphone 12 should still preform better than the ipad 2021.

    Play on an iPad before spending money on one. Some people love playing on a tablet. Others absolutely hate it.
    I play on iPad, iPhone, and my Note 20 Ultra.

    Get an android, at least in Android parry issue is much rare than ios
