That’s why they are “war boosts”

I've seen some of the war boosts and...

No. I don't think they'd be at all balanced for general questing, unless there was something like a special side quest where you could use them...

    Regular content? Nah.

I don't think the War Boosts, specifically, need to work in regular questing content. However, one thing I really liked about one chapter of Act 6 was that it gave you boosts that changed the way certain champions played. I really liked that idea. I didn't like the chapter enough to really investigate how well they worked so maybe there's a reason they haven't come back since, but I really like the idea of switching up some things in regular questing.

I feel kind of the same when it comes to the paradox charges in 7.4. Some have been annoying but I have mostly enjoyed them and the benefits they grant me if I keep them in check. It's fun to have all of your champs be able to power-drain the opponents with their special attacks, for example, or for your buff-heavy champions to have those buffs, well, significantly buffed. It was a lot of fun building up charges that made my debuffs a lot more potent or have significantly increased duration; there was just a lot of fun stuff there, I think.

I think there's room for more things like that, whether it's boosts or paradox nodes or something else. It sounds like the relic system will provide something similar as well. I'm all for that.

War boosts are the reason they are called

No but new and different utility-based boosts for regular content would be a fresh breath.

Another unit/monetization opportunity? They'd be all over that

Go do 6.3 for that. New content don't need chapter specific boosts.

While I would love the power boost for my r4 Nebula, I don't think it would be a good idea. With just Nebula, suicides, g99 and proxima, you just parry at the start of the fight hit the enemy a few times and sp2 and most fights outside of act 7 end there. Again, it is a cool idea, but I don't want it.

While you are at it, you should ask for war revives and war health pots to work in regular content too :)

It was just a question, even if the vote was 90% one sided I still wanted to know what people think
