my comment was removed. why? are we removing things now because we don't like them? don't tell me that it's not constructive, because it's constructive criticism. there's no reason to stop the weekly compensation until these issues are fixed.
I didn’t want to turn the beta system on mid-season so I didn’t, I’ve got used to the ‘bugged’ game now. When the beta got put on automatically with the hotfix the game has felt a lot more jerky and less consistent. I’m doing an AoL carina and have gone from Quake smacking me about like a child to being able to virtually solo her - and that was due to my mistake, not bad inputs.
Until this new system is stable, and definitely working an opt out needs to be in place and frankly weekly compensation should stay too.
It’s funny to me that they are saying the problem is fixed when all they did was create more problems that overshadow the original ones.
Isn’t that an effective way of solving current problem? Create newer problems so people stop paying attention to the old problems and focus on something else!!
It funny they say the control inputs are better but in the beta post it said the controls would feel worse and not to use it in harder content. I have definitely noticed my controls inputs are worse and have not gotten better 1 bit. So when did they fix the control input issue? My champs still dash forward when I swipe back, dash forward when I hit block, stand there doing nothing when I swipe back or hit block, and more I can’t explain except… the lag. However it’s more then then that. It’s super frustrating none the less.

I can agree… the controls are very inconsistent. I’m really hoping they get it fixed. I have not opted out so they can collect the data of all the inconsistencies. I hope my sacrifice is worth it haha
As per Kabam officials email to me, control issues are only for iOS, Android has no reported issue.
So I guess, Samsung is making Galaxy S21 Ultra phones based on iOS as the game is still broken for me, despite submitting multiple posts on Android bugs forum (no one has contacted me yet though). Furthermore, my post was closed to be informed to update the same Android bugs forum.
Is Kabam trying to say indirectly that MCOC is going to be iOS only game - if yes, let's be frank about it
even after new update, my iphone now starting to lose timing on parry. so many times in battleground and quest my parry timing is always late. So what kind of thing is fixed? i can tolerate this if i play on android, but i recently experience frequent parry problems on IOS after a new update. really dissapointed
1 more, since when AI can do reparry ? damn, i hit NF block for 3 hits, the 3rd hit he re-parry me. this happens twice today, and now i don't wanna hit that block again lol
It would seem weekly compensation stopped but the issues have not only continued they have morphed into something altogether. I’m confused how to understand the is decision making process.
@Kabam Miike since new and different bugs have surfaced, can we get the big compensation package for the last year, then start a new weekly cadence of compensation geared towards the new bugs.
Ideally this new comp could cover more modes of gameplay than AQ/AW. For the last year there has been 0 comp for incursions and now we have Battlegrounds to think about how comp plays into that. Regarding story/event/side quest comp. Five revives and ten health potions a month was barely reasonable for the issues we had, being that the issues have increased, what expectations should we have?
Free Mastery changes would be another great idea to consider as a Pro Player move to incentivize more engagement during a time of game performance issues. Bringing back the summoner appreciation calendar would also go a long way to getting more consistent engagement from those of us experiencing more substantial performance issues.

I agree. The monthly compensation was a joke. Tons of people always come back with well they gave compensation every week. Ok but that was so blatantly obvious to keep the whales and the high tier alliances at bay because of history has shown anything that is who kabaam fears the most. When they start talking boycott and such then that’s when we se the same ol comebacks of oh we hear you summoners, we will do better with transparency, yada yada blah blah. But back on topic. The game is so far from being fixed. I would also love to see how they came up with this conclusion. It not from playing their own game because then they would see it’s not. I’m at the point that I think they just don’t know how to fix it. Because good lord all the money they make and it’s really taken this long now… cmon. What they have managed to do all this time and skimp on the comp, increase AI, ruin AQ even more, and my personal favorite increase the frequency of unblockable falter degen or basically anything that can suck our health away even more. All this when it’s bad enough when we haven’t been able to evade, block, parry, dash etc. I’m actually jealous at what I see the AI do. I just sit there and shake my head thingy wow I wish I could do that. I apologize for the rant. Yeah his past year has just made me very bitter on what I’ve seen done and not done. So I know I opened the door for the usual trolls to come in. We all know who they are lol. It’s ok though I need a good laugh.
Therein lies the problem with long-term Compensation. The expectation of more grows.
Well, yeah. Long-term problems persist and long-term compensation has ceased. That’s what happens when you stop compensation for issues that have not been fixed. People ask for more.
Therein lies the issue with questionable customer relations.
They have been looking at very specific issues for months. Not all issues overall. That point has been made by them. No one is saying there aren't problems, but you can't keep the game in a continuous state of Compensation indefinitely. At least not in my opinion.

If you’ve been paying attention, you would understand people still are having issues with inputs and the compensation has stopped for these issues.
The Parry/Dex issues they were working on were a very specific set of issues they were addressing as the result of changing to a new system. As was stated back then, there are still other issues that need to be identified and worked on, and it's been repeated now. Hence the suggestion they made to report them in the proper fashion. This wasn't about any and all issues encountered with inputs.

No, man. Just no.
This hasn’t been a “parry/dex” exclusive compensation. They haven’t even called it a “parry/dex bug” since when it was identidied in August 2021. They didn’t call it the parry/dex refractor, did they? No, they called it the input refractor, because it had to deal with more than parry and dex. They have been referring to these issues as “input issues” since the end of last year, and is very much what we were being compensated for on a weekly basis.

First time I'll agree with this relic. The new input system has some getting used to but it also birthed a new set of issues. They're onto it but I'm with the termination of weekly compensation. Personally, they only go to overflow for me. Just wait for the big one, guys, even though we all know no one will be satisfied by it.

I don’t disagree at all with the compensation they were giving ending. However, being that so many new and potentially more pervasive issues have developed they should start sending out a revitalized comp package. At this point @Kabam Miike has never officially stated that we should start doing hard content again.
Anyone that has done any hard content since last August has done so at their own peril and against one of the initial postings from @Kabam Miike on the input issues. When can we finally get some recompense for pushing through story content and special content even though the official position was to postpone doing any hard content until the issue was resolved.

While I don't disagree in essence with the sentiment, I firmly believe they should have done it differently. We all know and agree compo cant last forever, but rather than ending it then pushing an update on people which created a whole new set of issues, they should have said something along the lines of;
"We are pushing the 35.0.1 input update to all players, we plan to cease weekly compensation packages 30 June. Be aware weekly packages will end in 6 weeks"
This would have allowed them to deal with new issues that arise while letting people adjust to a new input feel as each and every player will adjust at a different rate.
To me this would have been a happy middle ground as opposed to we have ended packages oh and here is a new input system, oh and a bunch of new bugs. Its almost like they did it on purpose to drain the weekly packages out of the system - dumb thing is however this hurts the less skillful and lower accounts way more than the whales and those pushing Act 8.
hindsight 20/20, monthly compensation would have made a lot more sense.
it easily scales if it takes longer than expected... and can be tweaked as things go. For example... the AQ/AW was more or less done right... it started with the glory, then it was removed... I would have been find if they then later removed the map crystals, but just left the potions/revives and gray boosts.
monthly questing potions never felt like enough. I would have given a similar (maybe slightly smaller) amount out but also had them weekly.
I don't see any practical way for Kabam to know what impact it had on people. Content is just different. People are doing different things, and often not doing things because of the issues. Just issuing content like EOP automatically skews the numbers as there is no control to know what it would have taken people without the issues.
And using my alliance as a small sample... there are people in it who have done some EOP fights way more efficiently than me for some weeks who struggled this week, where I thought this week was the easiest by far. You can't just say data point 1 used 5 revives, and data point 2 used 3 revives... so it must be 2 revives easier between the two data points because different people have different skills, rosters, etc., and there are just too many variables to get meaningful data.
It would be like saying there are more home runs scored this year than last year at this point. That could be anything.
Rule changes / matchups skill / rosters tactics weather new stadiums new equipment
We can't just say... well, must be the new pitch clock.
(for the record I don't know if there are more than last year... I am just making this up as an example).
