What does it’s in the third or a third beta testing have to do with the node they chose to put in? The defenders in the fights are already difficult why put in A very annoying node especially especially when it’s in Beta and they want people to play to get data

Your opponent faces the same nodes. Also don't bring champs with buffs. If your enemy is close to 2 bars, dex on purpose, then dex again, and keep hitting in block while baiting sp2. It's not perfect, but will work most of the time. For some champs it's even helpful, like if you're not confident with evading sp1 but fine with so, e.g. korg And finally, I hate Penny as well, so she gets banned once I see her. Easiest solution ever

Anyone who has played MCOC for more than a few weeks will know that sometimes no matter how much baiting you do the defender can sometimes just turtle up. And with a 2 min timer in BGs, they don’t need to turtle up for long for you to lose the match due to nothing to do with a lack of skill.
Yes there are things you can do to somewhat mitigate the issues of power snack and rise to power, but with nodes like that you’re at the mercy of the AI sometimes. And the more that’s the case, the more often you lose because you weren’t skilled enough. So that makes players feel bad, and isn’t as conducive to a fun mode.
The more the loss is due to a lack of skill, the more reasonable players will be when they lose. If you lose to a defender not throwing a special, it feels much worse than if you lose to a mess up on your own behalf.
I'm not saying ridiculous AI can't happen and baiting specials isn't guaranteed, but you talk like it is just a given that you'll get hit by an sp3. Like it is impossible to just bait out sp1s, or do dex early so that you can account for the power gain, then dex again while it is on cooldown to assure yourself the buff. That is kinda how nodes like this are always countered.
Do we play same game? Unplayable? JUST dont spam specials And heavy, start baiting from sp1, dont Dex specials, JUST block IT... IT IS hard node, but definitelly not unplayable. Also u have many nullify imunne champs, not ONLY powercontrol..
Not as much hard as it is rng based. When the ai throws specials its the easiest node. When they dont you can spend 20 seconds trying to bait an sp2 or just eat an sp3 to the face
This. powersnack is annoying because baiting in general has become much tougher. It feels like the AI dances around a lot more before throwing specials in general. Ive been noticing this in war as well, they barely seem to throw anything now. quite annoying.
I don’t see the problem with varying nodes, at the end of the day everyone is facing the same. Some people find certain combinations more challenging for their skill set and their roster. I will have a field day when safeguard comes up because I say such a DoT heavy roster but wasn’t so suited to masochism.

There is no winning against this guy , people. He is always gonna go negative on your constructive feedback and say you are wrong lol. ez. I talked about this in summoner showdown as well, flow and power snack are the worst designs available in the game. They punish you for using SKILL which is dexing specials. So you are telling me we cannot dex specials anymore. Oh I am gonna need myself a spidey 2099 or a red guardian whats the point of other attackers who gain buffs then. This is just wrong.
I don't mind Power Snack per se but it's very aggressive in BG. They build up power so fast. I ate two SP3s vs Warlock, for example. Still won the fight, somehow, but lost the overall match. Not complaining about that loss in and of itself - it was perfectly fair since the other guy was always slightly better than me in every fight - but that SP3 spam is pretty annoying.
I wish they nerfed it ever so slightly. I think it's Power Snack 3 and I think it could be PS2 instead.
It did make me appreciate Knull's lack of buffs (aside from the occasional dex), though. He's so good vs tech champions right now. Meanwhile, most other cosmic champions struggle mightily since all of their buffs are being eaten.

If I am reading this correctly your saying that I should only bait SP1...which would force a timeout with 75% of the champs in this game. And I honestly don’t think rise to power is a problem, power snack is what I hate. If rise to power was by itself I don’t think it would be too bad but all power gain nodes in general I don’t think fit this content the best

WHO says, we Have to kill defender in 30 secs with 100% life? Well im not top of the game, my rating Is 1727. Same power node Is at war, 22 And Path 1 i think, nothing special
In war u have ur entire roster except 3 bans to come up with an appropriate counter, & all the time in the world to strategise who to use & how to play U also have the option to use invulnerability boosts And there's no pressure of finishing the fights as quickly as possible & with as much health remaining as possible.....that's what we aim for in AW fights but it's not mandatory to ensure victory And even if u die there's still possibility that ur alliance eventually wins the war Battlegrounds is much different than AW
I would like to know the expanse of nodes that will show up in BG once it officially goes live. Like will we see power shield? Destructive feedback? SUPER masochism?? 😱
Power shield wouldn’t go very well imo cause most fight are SP2 and done. Quick fights for both players and not much of a challenge. It’s also kinda like how this node really suggests science champs, power shield suggests mutants, and I don’t think it’s good when it wants a lot of 1 specific class
