Honestly would rather it skips the SP3 but still passes the timer by the SP3 length just so it doesn't get annoying to have to use SP3's, or make the timer pass by a set amount to compensate for different SP3 lengths

I like the idea of all sp3s taking the same amount of time off the clock regardless of actual duration. Like, no matter who you use, it takes five seconds (I just pulled that number out of the air, it could be any number). That way you don’t have to measure out how long an sp3 is to know whether it’s worthwhile to throw.
If we're talking fair then it should be there because time is a crucial component of these fights and sp3s have varying lengths. But then so do sp1a and so2s so how would that factor
It could work. But it should give you a time penalty. Just take the average time of a special 3 and reduce that time from the time remaining in the fight. So it does not actually give you extra time in the fight. But it would be quicker in real world time.
I don't see why it would be a problem to have it back immediately in AQ like we did by accident a little bit ago. How does it hurt anyone if some people choose to use it and some don't?
Granted I don't know how it works in the highest level alliances but I don't see it effecting the scores for most alliances if some people use it and some don't since I don't think the small amount of time you can shave off by skipping the animation would change that many fights where people might time out.
In war if you die it hurts your points so I can see the arguments about needing to consider that mode more and make sure everyone can do it if it is allowed but in AQ it just costs you some glory to revive and/or heal up if you time out/die and can't get someone else to finish the node, it isn't likely it would cost most alliances points in the overall AQ score.
It's still a beta feature, right? I'm all for it becoming a part of all game modes once it's launched properly without people having to opt-in to access it, but I can understand why Kabam doesn't activate it everywhere until then. They probably have to work out how to manage it so that it's fair for everyone. There are a lot of routes they could go down and all of them would probably require some nifty coding, but it's such a QoL feature that its absence in certain game modes is so sorely felt.
I think it should. It would make it more fair because not all SP3 videos are the same length. Skip would guarantee it and you wouldn't lose so much time for using an SP3. its like a penalty how it is now. It should put a time until the skip happens for the amount of time it take for when the button would show and then auto skip.

In BGs - I'm not sure about it

Should have been done a long time ago.
Only issue I can see is power boosts/SP3 spam theoretically having no time limit.
