Champion emergence

Who is a champion for you that you didn’t use previously but recently, through BG or other content, has became an important part of your team?

With the introduction of BG and the safeguard node BWDO has became one of my favourite champs with how quickly she can end fights! Also helps that she gets both objectives for EOP this week.

Who is your champ that you used to overlook until recently?

Overseer is going to r2, possibly r3 next level up

I'm also on the overseer train. I've been using him a lot more and enjoying it

Would you consider Masacre an overlooked character?

It’s any champ that YOU personally have overlooked!

Lots of overseer, what’s the play style and pros of him? Have him at 5* R1 only.

i didn't learn professor x until last week. he is a great champ that i really overlooked simply because i didn't know how to play him

I learned him to not have to deal with reverse controls on the grandmaster fight and he is great! Can be a slow ramp up and he doesn’t suit every node (unless you’re an incredibly skilled player) but the damage can get crazy, especially when you add in mutant boosts!

I've been craving getting a 5/6* of him, he'd fit in nicely on my science teams

It's been quite a while since I last used OG Falcon, but he basically shuts down the Safeguard node with his lock-on. He's not the best champ for every node, but I've used him a fair amount the last week.

Captain Falcon has also put in some decent work. Every champion that doesn't crit, really. I have never used my 5* Guillotine and Guardian as much as I have during this week despite me having had them ranked up for a long time. I've never really gelled with either of them but they've both been really good.

Warlock and CapIW. Cap I r5ed years ago but stopped using him entirely for a long time until picking him up again very recently and he's been doing a lot. Warlock I r2ed purely for AW, and didn't expect him to have much use in any other content, but after throwing him into act 6 and cav EQ, pretty much every opinion I've had on him has gone full 180. Even thinking he was a sig-reliant champ and using that as my reason for not investing into him, but so far he's done absolutely everything without it, and now it just seems like a win more type ability to me.

Overall I think I really underestimated the value of durability, and that's mainly due to the champions I've been playing. But these 2 have been absolutely carrying me through my act 6 and variant runs.

    Same here, but for Gwenmaster.

I also brought him with me against Superior Kang nearly every time I fought that guy. It was the first time I had an all-mutant team and he was just insane. Not so much against Kang himself - I mainly used Apocalypse for him - but his synergies when fully ramped up were insane. I got a solid shield, a burst of power every 10 seconds, and +100% special attack damage. Add to that the synergy with White Mags that ends up giving you an additional +15% attack for your Guidance Boost (for a total of +30%) and Apocalypse truly lived up to his name. Damn, he hit hard. Kang didn't stand a chance.

Recently awakened him as a 6*, where is he useful and what’s the best rotation?

My personal favourite king groot with iabom (both r3) a great combo to use in questing & aq!
After the buff, king groot is amazing, sig25 for now!
King groot is really a great counter for penny parker if u don't hv other counters like red mags. He shut down her protective shield so quickly.
