1 more rank and 6 stars will be maxed out after that do you think there will be need of 7* champs in game.

BUT:
it won't be a rarity that u get from crystals, unlike the previous ones...
You will be able to rank up a 6* r5 champ, or maybe we can call it "Evolve" a 6* r5 champ, into a 7* r1 champ which will still be awakened ofc and sigged up if he was before the evolution and as a 7* r1 champ his pi and hp and attack rating will be the same or maybe a tinyyyyyy bit less than a 6* r5 max lvl champ.
So essentially its kinda like if r6+ existed, but instead it's a new star rarity that u can just evolve a 6* champ into instead of starting over again, and you will get a benefit from the champ being 7* (similar to the Adrenaline thing)

We don’t even have R5 6 stars yet. We also don’t have any content that really required R4 6 stars. 5 stars can complete act 8.1, gauntlet, EOP, and Abyss just fine. I don’t see a use for another star level with some extra health and attack at the moment

Game has move on somehow or it will end once the whales have maxed out every great 6* there is. Between 7*s and relics, I'll take the 7*s. It would take about 2 years after their release before they even become meta anyways unless you're a whale who is spending thousands to get sigs into those guys.

There obviously needs to be another tier at some point or the game gets stale, but 7*? Good opportunity to rename them and give them a funky new icon like the Ex-champs in Labyrinth or something a bit unique to make them feel really special!

Agreed, especially if the current Battleground point system is kept, relics are just gonna become a pay-to-acquire resource. I also don’t wanna feel obligated to play Battlegrounds so I can acquire a relic to boost my champs. I’d rather just keep it an optional gamemode like arena.

Nope. There's no need for them. And knowing how Kabam thinks.... the gold, catalysts fragments, and ISO that are going to be needed to level and rank 7's will become more and more rare, few in quantity, and expensive. It currently takes 57,000 T6B fragments to form ONE T6B catalyst, and 3 fully formed T6B catalyst just to R4 a 6*. I can't imagine how much will be needed for a 7*.

And let's consider the level of revives and health potions that will be needed for these 7* champions, that we know Kabam will be stingy with offering.

Considering I don't even have a lot of the 6*s I want, or have them but not awakened, plus, all the time and energy it takes to pursue a 5*/6* and rank up, I sure hope they don't anytime soon. I won't quit if they bring out relics (I don't plan on it at least), but if they bring in 7*s, I will for sure.
