Kabam, people who told you that they know russian and you gave them job to translate game into this language are still lying to you!
After my last message regarding this topic there was some changes... I guess that someone maybe opened one or two books and Quake got another name from Earthquake into Shiver/Tremble/Shake. It looks better, but it would be better if her name was translated by letters, not by meaning.
Still people looking on Skull and Bones in their profiles - more stupid name i never heard.
but, what these people done with Hela - is the most outrageous thing! they called her Hel!!!
In case if you don't know the difference: "Hel is a world bound to the mind of its mistress and queen, Hela, Ruler of the Dead. "
so russian players will play for the whole death world. perfect.
Proper names don't translated into other language by meaning! Remember it! We learned it in3rd grade at school! Michael won't be Misha when he come to Ukraine! and Alisa won't be Alice when se will come to Kanada!
Please, do something. these people ruining good mention of the game, and i'm not talking about numerous spelling mistakes!

Yes, we have some character names that we used to hear by their meaning. In some cases
like Spider-man, we used to call him as spider man (by meaning), but people also know him as spiderman (by letter).
Iron man, iron fist - we used to head their names translated by meaning - that's not too bad.
Abomination - we don't call him as abomination, his name is translated by the meaning. That's not too bad. in russian his name translated by letter sound pretty stupid :-)
But no one ever called Batman as bat man - only letter by letter translation.
Also i can mention about Cable. in our language we have two meanings on Cable word. first means wire, second means male dog (but with little difference, sounds the same, letter O instead A, another accentuation, most of children don't even know phonetical difference due to lack of wisdom in their head). Anyway, we used to hear both of translations of his name, as it was with Spider-man. But to shut down these unfunny jokes - please wright his name as it translated by lettters - Кейбл.
