I honestly feel like the changes to the event really cut down on the amount of cheating/fraud this year so it shouldn’t take kabam long to go through the leaderboards and issue rewards 2-3 days max
I'm not entirely sure it would have reduced their amount of work so much as it made actions easier. I suspect less people tried to commit Fraud, since it is traced back to their Accounts, but the work in combing through is pretty much the same. It just means there was less chance of people hiding behind disposable Alts.
Do you honestly think kabam is combing through every single qualifying account? Lol
Do I think they're using their detection methods as thoroughly as they can to the best of their ability? Absolutely. Fraud isn't something anyone treads lightly on.

Alright then. Let me rephrase my answer.
Yes.
Well in that case as some who deals with huge databases on a daily basis it’s highly unlikely that kabam is doing that because I can guarantee you a thorough review would absolutely take more than a week. It’s more likely they are relying on sampling and statistical analysis which explains why some cheaters still slip through the cracks

I'm not sure how you can make that assertion, considering you're not aware of any actions they take, or their process of verification. Also, if you can't prove it through their processes, you can't take action. Therein lies the problem. People will find a way to trick the system. Is the process imperfect? Sure. I'm not aware of what you do for a living, but in this system, preventing all cheating from occurring and banning every single transgression isn't a reasonable goal. It's about doing the best you can within the constraints of what you find in the data, and improving on that process. I'm sure we would all love it if every person who broke the rules was instantly dealt with, but that kind of system isn't possible, considering any actions are retroactive. Scores of people consider themselves Leaderboard experts, but unless you work on Kabam's end, you can't make that judgment. Neither can I. Nor will we ever possess that knowledge. They're legally prohibited from sharing it. So, you can either go on an indignant tangent about how they "let it happen", or you can have faith in the process. Personally, I choose the latter.

I don’t need to know Kabam’s exact methodology to be able to make a qualified educated guess based on my years of experience working with large amounts of data. I also don’t see where I went off on some tangent about how they “let it happen” not even sure how you came to that conclusion from reading reading my comments.
I, in fact am indifferent on the subject of cheaters mostly because I know that their actions don’t affect my gaming experience one bit (except to slow the release of my rewards) I don’t compete at the levels where my rewards would be changed because someone cheated. This is just my opinion so please don’t go off on some wild rant like I’m trying to pass it off as facts.
Nice to see all the bootlickers have a place to congregate. This game has been around for almost a decade. It shouldn't take take days and weeks to sort this **** out. A few hours maybe.
Yeah just look at Eve Online. They've been out for twenty years and now it takes them, what, four minutes to find and ban cheaters. Chess has been around for two thousand years. They probably find and ban cheaters in six milliseconds by now.

Totally, mcoc is a game, and kabam employees Shouldn't assume remotely the players who spend thousands upon thousands of dollars are not mere children that can be "messed with" and don't expect a blow in return. Kabam as a company should be considerate of the player base and give more transparency, a CALCULATING LEADERBOARD of finished event like that of banquet can keep people satisfied meanwhile they work out their own cheating finding technique whatever it may be, but i don't understand why they don't let it show.
There has been so many cases of delay in rewards over the years and the reasons from Kabam are valid. I totally don't mind the delays but does Kabam not realize the impact on players with valuable resources expiring in stash???
I would suggest each time there is a delay in rewards, add 7 days extra on the stash expiry countdown. This has been long overlooked as many people spent money to buy bundles where the least priority items goes overflow into stash.
Just program the stash expiry countdown timer to add 7 days and we can relax.

Because it’s not our responsibility to take care of the cheating. It is entirely on their shoulders to clean up the mess. We can cry out new system but that system will eventually fall prey to cheating and modders. The community acts like children when they don’t get what they want, they harass Kabam and throw a fit.
Why is everyone in such a hurry? It'll come when it comes. What are some of your scores? Curious how I fared in the event
You must be new to this forum. Few here believe patience is a virtue.
I agree with you BTW. I just play the game and open rewards when they arrive, without worrying how long it has taken. It is a mobile video game, unworthy of so much angst and anger.
