You need to put it as a REPLY in the Wishlist 3.0 thread itself. The Wishlist is NOT a separate category on the forums, it is an actual (long, continuing) thread.
So if you creat a new post the way you did here, you would not see Wishlist as a place in which your post would go. Thus why your post ended up as a separate/new post here.
