Entirely too long. They don’t have to be 5 minutes, but 24-48 hours max. The room completion milestones don’t reset for a long time, so it’s not like you can spam rewards with the same champs.
The mode in its current form has so many roadblocks to getting anything worthwhile, it’s absurd.
I don't plan to do very much, if anything, with the mode going forward since they reverted the timers. The only way I would put any kind of serious time into incursions was if they put the timers back to a very short duration and figured out some way that didn't break things to make you able to earn some type of worthwhile rewards for most of the repeat runs you do. If I have to keep fighting through lower rooms for no rewards just because I already beat them on an earlier run I am not interested.
I enjoyed the 5 minute timers but I don’t think regular incursions need them. I think 1-2 maybe even 3 days is reasonable especially with the randomness of nodes and varying skill levels and rosters of players. I also would like to bring the idea of adding the option of something similar to the arena help system to incursions cooldowns. This could be an either or both situation but I feel like for people with smaller rosters it is definitely more beneficial to shorten timers
I personally think that it’s too long of a wait and it was much more fun last month when they were five minutes.
Incursions doesn’t give much benefit outside of going for zones 15-25. With that being said I’ve always considered it the mode I play where there’s nothing else to do because it can be really fun. But what stops me from doing that is just knowing that my champs are locked off for a week afterwards ruins the experience and prevents me from playing to begin with. You can literally start on room 1 with bs nodes and that’s it until next week… that’s a really really flawed design imo. Last month side quest is exactly how incursions should be going forward and I doubt most would disagree with that. Moreover, The current incursion store is more of a tease and placeholder imo because the typical person isn’t generating enough of the currency a month to begin with so idec about the artifacts or store. They say “well everything can’t be done in a month. You got to cut losses some places in exchange for others” with that being said, I say make incursions store like the danger one last month. Kabam will say “ohh but there’s the bg store, and glory store, etc” and all I’ll say is “remember, not all pieces of content can be done in a month right?”🤷🏾♂️
After they it came back, I went in to try it out. I messed up at zone 4, realized I would be stuck playing at low hp for the rest of run and quit out. Checked the timer and it said 5 days lol. Back into the trashcan where it belonged.
If they think 5 minutes is too short (I personally disagree) then the timer shouldn't be more than 24 hours. It's not like doing multiple runs gives you multiple rewards so the timer doesn't make sense to begin with. It's just an unnecessary hassle on a game mode that needs it the least.
Incursions is my favorite favorite game mode but the timers ruin it for me. That and having to start at zone 1 every single time.
Although, it's not because ppl got used to the lower cooldowns in last month side quest incursions. It's because of upcoming 7*, and that they basically dropped all the cooldowns (and refresh costs) down one “Star Version Rarity” level.
Making the upcoming 7* be the same current “top level” (6*) cooldown / refresh cost. Dropping 5* to what 4* were, 6* down to what 5* were, etc.
That's not good enough to get me to play it (which is fine, they don't have to cater just to me). I don't know how they thought out the timing of this stuff but if they thought they could get more people interested in playing the mode just by updating the refresh timers due to 7* it probably wasn't a great idea to do that after a month of 5 minute timers. It doesn't seem very impressive when it is going back up to those times from 5 minutes.

Same. 4 days is simply too damn long. There's no difference.
I will continue to ignore the game mode just like most people until Kabam does the obvious sensible thing.
A dying game mode and you have all these kinds of barriers in place to further turn people off from playing? Makes absolutely no sense to me.
