Do you think Battlegrounds victory shields are well designed?

It seems to me like every time I use a victory shield I get a super easy match or like a tanker and it always feels so bad like I wasted the shield completely, do you think it would be better, especially given you can only buy one every so often, to let it remain till you lose, or do you think it is a well balanced mechanic?

I think the risk is kinda inherent to the shield, having it stay on until you lose would be too OP in my opinion. I think the way it works right now is fine, I just wish they were cheaper because they're not worth the 1450 tokens that they cost

Having the only repeatable way to getshields being 90 units around £4 or currency equivalent. Having them instantly expire is silly I've used 4 this season, all 4 were instant forfeit wins. They should last for 3 wins or one loss.

I would love the idea to use it only if you lose would be great. It has worked for me half the times. Would love the option to use it if only when I lose. Great QL idea.

I forgot these could be bought with units and was thinking only about the trophy purchase. In an imaginary world where units aren’t usable and you’re capped at one weekly, 1450 is a perfectly reasonable cost considering the laughable competition at platinum and up.

Alternatively, you should be able to activate the shield once you see your opponent. I used no shields this season because the lower levels were quick and higher levels were easy.

Yes I think we should completely remove the units version and only allow the weekly purchase, that way we actually get a competitive game mode and not some pay to win garbage, I also don’t enjoy the matchmaking personally because either I get put against 4 rank 5 6* and all the rest rank 4 that with my best counter pick I can’t chew through the health bars, or I get all 5* rank 4 as an easy win, this game mode as is is not anywhere close to fair, competition, as you feel helpless when you lose to someone with 3 times your roster but cheap when you beat someone who doesn’t have a chance against your champs.

Which is why I believe for the competitive integrity of the game unit purchases on victory shields specifically should be at the very least limited if not removed

I'd make them cheaper to buy, but I think they should kept restricted to one use.

I'd say allow us to get more than 4 in a season without spending units.
