It's called humor. It's a wonderful thing. You keep mentioning whales like that has anything to do with the internal game economy. If something is an issue, it's an issue. It would seem that this issue is a personal one, since people are able to manage their Gold quite nicely. Otherwise we'd see pages and pages of complaints. Better still, the data would show it. They've made strides with Gold recently. There's lots of it to be had. It also requires Players to manage it properly. Which means if we spend massive amounts of it Ranking after a major sale, it's going to take some time to replenish. Whether the "whales" are out or not....which I highly doubt applies to all, since I've seen people post pictures over 100M recently....the system will either show a deficiency or it won't. That's not dependent on "The whales say so, so it must be true.".

Seems like you don’t know how to manage your resources. Gold is not an issue. Do you rank up champs that you don’t use? Asking because I know many people still rank up 4* and below wasting their resources then complain.
Game balance for one thing. You're always going to have at least one bottleneck Resource. One thing that requires time and effort to build and maintain. A system that gives one demographic everything they need unchecked is not one that allows anyone else to progress in any reasonable way. Let's say the Top has all they need. Champs, Cats, Gold, all of it. This is true to some extent, but there are still limiting Resources, and I've seen them shift over the years from one thing to another. In any event, what you would have is a broken system. The Top would continue to progress faster and faster, and no matter how much anyone underneath progresses, they'd never catch up. What we have right now is a system that provides all the Champs and Cats people need at that level. If they continue Ranking the highest at a speedy rate, they're going to deplete the more common Resources. This is by design. We're not meant to Rank higher Champs and higher Ranks that fast without serious dents into our stockpiles. The higher the Rarity, the higher the Rank, the more it will take and the longer it will take to make back. That's by design.

No, but I'm ranking up champs to r3 and r4 to try and get competitive in BGs and try to make it above Arcane 1 (where I finished last season). That was the first time I tried to play past Uru and and 6r2 and 6r3 in my deck was a bit of a problem vs the decks I saw (espeically when I dipped into M3).
If I'm playing the game (not whaling out) and have r4 catalysts in overflow, why do I have no gold? Why is that such an imbalance? We don't use gold for anything else...

I appreciate that, I know it’s easy to just throw insults at people on the forums because.. well it’s the forums. But I do think there’s good discussions to be had here
I get the point, and maybe it’s more relevant for others but I’d prefer ways to earn gold over ways to buy it. I also think that’s healthier for the economy as well. Maybe it could be looked at, but to me that’s a bandaid for a larger update that’s needed
I’d like to see incursions update to other rewards making it relevant (because there’s a TON of gold there) which would by extension get you more gold by doing incursions, I’d like to see a bump in arena (my maybe slightly unrealistic wish is to make 5*s useable in the basic 4* arena similar to how we can use 7*s in the basic 5*, at a reduced point rate). Because I’ve stopped ranking 4*s for years at this point. I also do think ISO could be looked at

You keep mentioning whales like that has anything to do with the internal game economy. If something is an issue, it's an issue. It would seem that this issue is a personal one, since people are able to manage their Gold quite nicely. Otherwise we'd see pages and pages of complaints.
Better still, the data would show it. They've made strides with Gold recently. There's lots of it to be had. It also requires Players to manage it properly. Which means if we spend massive amounts of it Ranking after a major sale, it's going to take some time to replenish.
Whether the "whales" are out or not....which I highly doubt applies to all, since I've seen people post pictures over 100M recently....the system will either show a deficiency or it won't. That's not dependent on "The whales say so, so it must be true.".

In any event, what you would have is a broken system. The Top would continue to progress faster and faster, and no matter how much anyone underneath progresses, they'd never catch up.
What we have right now is a system that provides all the Champs and Cats people need at that level. If they continue Ranking the highest at a speedy rate, they're going to deplete the more common Resources.
This is by design. We're not meant to Rank higher Champs and higher Ranks that fast without serious dents into our stockpiles. The higher the Rarity, the higher the Rank, the more it will take and the longer it will take to make back. That's by design.
