BGs Focused Rank 5 - Domino or Archangel?

As title says: Focus is BGs. Currently don’t have a 7 star domino.

Two concerns from each champion

AA getting banned a ton more at r5 who I use for mystics due to a weak science roster (no 7 star hulk or Titania, no Silk or Scorpion etc)

Domino is one of the best defenders in the game at sig 200 but the presence of the 7 star and the fact she does insane damage. I feel like the r5 for her would be massive in the short term, but fall out over time as someone pulls and dupes the 7*.

Rank the 7 star up but only put her on defence if she's awaken. Max sig 6 star Domino is more of a headache then an awaken 7 star Domino. I love AA but he does fine at R4 but nobody is going to use him on defense.

I had the same issue but also added Apoc and Strfye into the mix. Then I realized that they were all dumb options.

In 7 BG matches in GC, he's been banned 5 times, wasn't selected in one match, and won on defense against Galan. Who would have guessed that?

I wouldn't throw a 7* unawakened Domino in my deck over a sig 200 r5 6* even if her damage at r2 is better tbh

Don't worry, you will need to pull her few more times as a 7*, to be a better defender from the maxed 6* version 😉
So pulling her as a 7*, doesn't devalue r5ing the 6* as for now and for the very near future.
By the way Domino is my next mutant r5.
I have done AA first, only to do the two extra Gauntlet runs faster and for faster ROL potion farming.
If someone is BGs focused, is more efficient to r5 Domino first than AA. Especially with the scoring changes, with time contributing less points than health, the extra points from an r5 AA for time bonus, will be less than the extra points that an r5 Domino defender will cut from the opponent's remaining health bonus.
Objectively, Domino is the wise choice 🙂

Personally AA is gonna be banned a lot. Domino as a 6* will last a while on defense with that annoying sig.

I’m not gonna lie I was gonna do aa but some people had convincing arguments and I went with domino. Hopefully I don’t regret. Don’t have domino 7 star, but if I get her 10 times in a row I’ll be mad. The odds tho? Not healthy lol

@JT_Supreme The 7 star doesn’t need dupe or high sig to be lethal for attack though which is the source of my conundrum.

@Greekhit makes an excellent point though about the importance of health over time in BGs for the edge to Domino over AA in speed

The 6 star is an insane defender
The 7 star is an insane attacker

This is why I’m stuck.

I could potentially hold the gem for them to release another mutant but by the time we get one on the same level as these champs, r5 gems will be abundant.
