I Joined my new alliance in November(/early December) but still I had time lag for qualifying for alliance rewards , I qualified only after 2days and the units and the points which I used for banquet event was not added for the alliance milestones. Now I am short of alliance milestones while all my teammates have full rewards. I spent my units while I was in my alliance and I joined the alliance weeks before the event , yet this happened , If Kabam can help me with this , it would be a great help.

    No there no helps

You might be mistaken about when you joined your current alliance.
If you initially had a 2 day wait, then you probably didn’t join them until around Dec 8th.

And any points you did prior to that Countdown Timer ending do NOT get added to Ally totals once timer ends. Only points you contributed *after* timer ended would count.

*if you really joined in Nov or 1st several days in Dec, did you maybe leave (even if accidentally) and then come back around the 8th ? That could be why.

In addition to the update in-game mail other people posted pics of, there was also this one that went out the day the Banquet event started:

This is done so people can’t collect rewards from multiple alliances

I simply want to collect mine and move on lol. Could honestly care less about the rank rewards. I left my alliance unknowingly after the event started where I would have received them. If you swap alliances…that’s where the MILESTONES should pick up where they left off but the alliance contribution would be put to a hault. Simple as that.
The alliance lock out window was put in place so that a single player could not farm alliance milestones. Consider someone that was in the alliance on day one, and the alliance was active enough to get all the milestones on day one. The player could collect all those milestones then leave and join another alliance that hadn't started collecting points yet. Then they could get all the alliance milestones again. And even if the alliance already started opening crystals, it is the top milestones that are the most valuable. Imagine a player jumping from alliance to alliance collecting dozens of 7* crystals as each alliance reached the final milestone.

Or imagine a bunch of players who decided that rather than go for the rank rewards, they would just buy just enough crystals to top out the milestones, then leave and reform a new alliance, then do that again, and again, and again, collecting the milestones over and over. More or less, it takes spending only about 2750 units from thirty players to max out the alliance milestones (9 GBCs, plus opening the five you get from milestones, plus spending the 550 units on two more GBCs gets you to 34300 points per player, 1,029,000 for the alliance - if everyone opens just one GBC from some other milestone source that would take both the alliance and the players over the top). A group of players willing to spend units on this - even free to play players with stockpiles of units - could easily do this several times, maybe even a dozen times or more. That has a decent chance of being better than the rank rewards they would be forfeiting.

To prevent all the different combinations of shenanigans that could result because this actually happened in the past in other contexts they put in the alliance lock out window. It isn't some random number of days either: the lock out requires you to be in the alliance for at least fourteen days because that's how long the banquet event lasts. This it to make sure it is impossible to collect rewards twice, because if you jump alliances even one second into the event you cannot collect rewards from the alliance you jump into before the event ends.

And as several other players have noted, Kabam makes it a point to communicate this everywhere. It is announced on the forums. It is announced in the in-game email that announces the banquet event. And it is even repeated in a separate in-game message that kicks off the event.

Technically I will have been in the alliance 14 days…what I was so furious about is the fact that I joined a mere hour after the start of the event and was still ineligible

Have you taken responsibility yet or you're still blaming Kabam?
