I'm curious if most players are higher level, mid, or lower. I had fun the whole way through, it just feels like most are high level.
Keep in mind forums represents only a tiny sliver of the community
I’ve seen people on the MCOC subreddit be absolutely clueless about news related stuff in the game sometimes. Like they’re unaware the forums even exist…and some of these are veteran players sometimes.
I know it’s not anyone’s job to be up-to-date on the livestreams and the forums, and a lot of it is that I have to work from a computer most of the time, but I find myself informing my own alliance about news and updates more often than not.

I am curious what this looks like across the community. Not surprised Valiant is over represented here comparatively (at the time of my post it is 50%). If you only came to the forums and caught a few YouTube videos, you would think if you weren’t valiant by now you should just uninstall the game.
I explored necropolis because I’ve never done any of the other end game content and wanted the challenge. It a as one of the most fun things I’ve done in game and becoming Valiant was just a bonus.

Most players are lower level.
Keep in mind, new players join the game all the time. We get thousands of downloads a month. There's a lot of new players who have yet to become Uncollected yet.
Of the players who have been around for at least, say, a year, I would bet most are still Cavalier or under. Most players of most mobile games play casually. We can get a glimpse of that when we look at things like AQ or AW rank rewards. There are tons of players who have yet to become Thronebreaker or level 60.
The number of players who have become Valiant is probably in the thousands with all the Road to the Crypt activity, but unlikely to be tens of thousands. To be Valiant with a very few exceptions you either had to do a completion path and whale out, or fully explore Necropolis. With about ten million deaths in the Necropolis I would expect that to represent something between 50,000 and 100,000 paths. If all of them were explorations that would be about 8,000 Valiant players. But that's nowhere near the truth. If about a quarter of the paths were attributed to explorers, that would be two to four thousand Valiants. We'd get a few thousand more from single completions plus whale out spending, maybe.
So maybe thousands of Valiants, maybe tens of thousands of Paragons and Thronebreakers, and everyone else Cavalier and lower. If I had to guess I would guess maybe 20% of the players that have played for at least a year are Paragon or higher, and 80% would be TB or lower.
You are never going to see that distribution represented in the forums or the Reddit or anywhere else except in the game itself. Most players don't post anywhere, and the more casual your gameplay the less likely you are to show up anywhere. Participating visible players tend to come from the more engaged, longer playing, and higher progression players.
