I want to cry and scream so bad… should I just give up?? (Necropolis)

So I’m really bad at fighting Titania. I knew I would be. Like *really* bad. But knew I had to at least try because now I have a massive surplus of revives.

I read posts saying “try banking at 100-150 hits” and after an hour of restarting constantly getting nowhere NEAR close to that - I thought I’d just start.

I was only getting 50ish hits on average, so I just said screw it and started banking.

I already used up 14 revives… still on Titania… and then the muscle-moter-memory took over when I died one time and instead of hitting “revive” I hit that *lovely* little RESTART button.

I feel so defeated and like an absolute insane loser. At this point, am I *so* bad at this that it’s not even worth trying?

I’m guessing you’re using Aegon. What rank and sig? What is your revive and unit count?

Keep practicing. If you get a good run, roll with it and keep pushing

Dont be down shes annoying af and the ramp up phase is too but after he gets to 999 it gets a lot easier, you still have time for the 15. What i would do if i were you is keep practicing on the titiana untill the 100+ combo hit becomes the norm, then go in and commit to it, all the champs on that path can be done by aegon alone so you can just brute force it no worries as long as you’re flush with revives and units just in case.

I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’m really struggling as the fight gets longer though to remember if I’ve activated the combo shield before or not. But for runs like this I guess better to be safe than sorry and especially at low health.

How do you guys pay attention to it and notice when it’s under 50%? The game doesn’t do anything to tell you besides a number that you have to look at constantly (in addition to all the other things).

I’ve had +100 combos now three times where they activated a special, I got rooted, and died, losing my combo. I know it’s my own fault - but how did y’all counter this? People saying they’d bank 150-200 or more hits, how are you unaffected by the root?

Pay attention to the icon color. It will change from white to maroon when the charges drop under 50%.

At 75 you’re rooted during specials. If she has the haymaker going while you’re rooted, it’s really tough to dex. What synergies?

Thanks everyone for your encouragement and tips!

I screwed up quite a few times and lost my bank, but obviously it still did health chipping away at her - so now I’m worried my rank up is super low to what it should be.

Does anyone have screen caps/logs of their fight? I’m only at 547 combo, and 23 revives used.

Honestly you might want to think about banking once you break 100. Hitting 150 consistently is going to take a while and honestly the whole thing gets easier and easier once you get him up. It’s just not worth the stress.

And I feel for you on the exit. My stress level is very high whenever I hit that screen as I’m worried I’m going to do the same.

Don’t stop until you get the necropolis completion rewards. There is no other option other than to complete this quest.

Alright people I finished Aarkus, 18 revives, at 999 combo now.

Gonna watch some videos for the next few fights so I really understand what I’m doing.

This is truthfully the first time I’ve ever used Ægon so I don’t really have a “feel” for what I can and can’t get away with at 999 from here on out.

Now that I’m 999 - should I Ascend him? He’s R4 - don’t have the materials to R5.

Just ascend him , I did that very path your on for my completion and I didn't have the materials to R5 aegon either so I just ascended him and also you might have to use a few boosts to shorten some fights before they start to get annoying

Don't get discouraged. Airwalker and cap Britain were my worst fights. Wiccan is ok but it gets MUCH easier after that.

I didn’t use Aegon so I don’t really have any specific advice but to the last section of your post there, one thing I will highly recommend is when you feel yourself starting to get really upset and frustrated at a fight, take a break. Take a break, put the phone down, come back later. I understand in the moment it might be hard to do that, but trust me you will thank yourself because it’s much easier to fight with a clear head and you will save yourself revives. I hit a really frustrated wall with the Grandmaster’s third phase, real upset with how it was going. I did finally put the phone down to come back later, but I should have done it way sooner.

Just something to keep in mind as you go along, these fights can be frustrating. Good luck with the rest of your run, you can do it.

Now you at full combo you can aegon smash let them hit every now and then while your unstoppable ( don't do it when low health) i usuallt do a four hit combo let them hit you once and go for another full comvo and you'll build up to 9 furys and will do a ton of extra damage, also fyi watch some of the content createrz streams before fights so you know exactly what your getting into, not to scare you but if you've used that many revives already then your likely gonna have a horrible time on the airwalker fight, read the nodes untill you fully understand what your doing and as I say check people streams out on YouTube to really grasp what you need to do! Good luck!

Just keep knocking him down and if that timer is almost up, quit and don't let him regen.

Between 2s, 3's, 4's, and teams, I *had* about 160.

Then 23 on Titania and 18 on Aarkus. But Titania's was after I'd accidentally hit "restart" INSTEAD of "revive" after already using 12-14 revives and had to start the whole thing over.

As others have mentioned, take breaks when you start frustrated reviving. That definitely help when I did my run. The best strat I found for Air Walker was every time the knockdown timer hit 50%, I'd start trying to knock him down. Good luck & keep those deaths coming 🤪

I often didn't survive once the root kicked in on any champ. I'd just hold block and take damage until I died. But I was still able to do all 6 necro paths. You got this

I did it in like 144 and am in almost the same boat as you, so don't lose hope. Also, remember to kill your nick if you team revive
