How exactly is Herc bad for the game?

I admit that he's busted, but precisely how is his existence bad for the game?
1. Content
EQ is not difficult and is built around classes anyway
Story content has been easy for years
He's blacklisted and banned in war most of the time, and globals are making him less relevant
AQ is a slog so let us have him
He's not affecting Everest content like necropolis and carina objectives target specific classes and champions
So what content is being ruined because he exists? If he was nerfed would we see a reduction in difficulty that needs less revives? I don't see it.
2. Herc's effect on player skills
He's arguably made players less skilled, but we have defenders like photon, maestro, onslaught, and bullseye that players have to get around. If we nerf Herc, players will just move on to using the next busted champ, like Hulkling or somebody else.
3. Devs lives are much harder
How much harder are their jobs with him in the game? Are they not able to do things because he exists? What things can they not do?

That’s the truth, and that’s the reason Kabam would wish they could nerf him.
Unfortunately, they realise that the gain from higher unit consumption from nerfing him now, after years from his release, doesn’t worth the trust issues and the uproar it will raise within the community.
Directly nerfing a champ (product) that you have sold after so many years, can’t be compensated in any way.
Personally I paid 100€ to buy him from an annual sales selector.
Others might have spent many more on the hunt from him.
Others grind their a** out for hours at arena, to place top spots in order to get him.
How exactly the company can compensate these stuff?
They can’t.
So they can’t directly nerf him and they know it.
Or to put it more correctly, they can but they will have to suffer the consequences from doing so, that will be at least on par with the V12.0 ones.
And this time the game isn’t that fresh to resist such a major hit.
What Kabam can do is to gate his 7* version, or even better release a “nerfed” edition as 7*, and keep putting nodes in content, to regulate his effectiveness 🤷♂️
2. If some players want to stay "less skilled" and not achieve oneness with the game, so what? This isn't my life, it's just something I do for fun. I prefer simple nuke champs. Always have since SF2. If I had to 5D + whittle with inferior champs so someone I don't know and whose opinion I don't care about approves, I'd play something else.
3. That sucks for them, I guess. Maybe they should talk to the node and champ designers and get some harmonizing going.
But I do agree on your point, but I believe Kabam missed that opportunity to nerf herc, The best time to nerf herc was when EOP was the best thing in the game, Now EOP don't even worth the effort, so the only nerf herc needs is keeping him away from the 7* crystal.
All the damage that Hercules could have done is done already, most new content has nodes around him...
I might use him in AQ personally and to auto farm lower EQ...
Unlike other games, like Fortnite which offers cosmetics at a fixed price, you’re paying for a chance at something valuable like Hercules.
If MCOC wasn’t as P2W as it is, this really wouldn’t be a problem. But the fact people spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars for Herc, without any monetary compensation does not seem right.
Granted, Herc is not being nerfed as confirmed by Miike. But this can of worms opened up when it shouldn’t have
And stop the P2W argument... People who spend don't call the other Free to lose...
Herc is entirely boring. If Incursions wasn't so tedious probably wouldn't have r5 or r6 him.
