Ascending before max level.

I have ascension material for a 5* ghost is r4 max level. Should I that or another champ.

    If the question is “does the timing of Ascension matter”.
    No, doesn’t matter if you Ascend someone before of after getting them to Max Rank/Level.

    The Ascension gives the increase boost to whatever their current Rank/Level is, not based on the Rank/Level when you actually did the Ascend.
