At least on Widescreen Phones like yours, the right corner “Cancel” (X) is visible against a Black background.

On other devices (iPad, more square dimensions), that corner (X) is against the Light Blue area of background, around where your timer in pic above is located.
Making it very difficult to even see that the “Cancel” (X) is present on that screen.

Took me a long time the first time to determine how to get rid of that offer without closing/restarting the game.
