Is he still a Meta Defender or has he Phased Out?

While he does force health loss, he doesn't have anywhere near the tankiness that Korg or KM have. He has a small health pool and doesn't have critical resistance like those 2. And he also doesn't even force Healthpool loss to the extent that Bullseye does.

I've seen certain champs take him really fast rendering the healthpool loss to be pretty much irrelevant.

Because of all this and already having 7 star Korg, KM, and Bullseye ranked, I'm not sure I'd get much use out of him on Defense if I ranked him

I say "OK" because he's still a threat to some but not to others. I've had a lot of success against him with Shuri, OG Storm, Sunspot, Bishop, AA, and Colossus. Only time I don't is when I forget that he purifies stuns, and goes unstoppable.

He is a 'defender'. That's what I can say. In some cases he can be lethal, but in some fights he just doesn't show his defensive potential due to fight length or non contact hit champs. I took him down a few days ago with my r4 ascended NC and finished off within 45 secs while at 95% health

Yes he's still a Defensive Threat

He's still a defensive threat AS LONG AS your opponent doesn't hard counter him. With a soft counter, your opponent will still take damage and if you can capitalise on that, he's still a very good defender. Lets say your opponent has a shuri, onslaught or negasonic, Attuma is going to absolutely suck. But if your opponent takes Bishop or Storm or Sunspot against him, you still have a chance of pulling through as long as you are up against a defender that you can nuke.

He is only terrifying if you stun him a lot, otherwise there's a lot of champ who can kill him at 90% health.

He's not the best defender but at least, the best counter who do not take damage (Shuri, Onslaught, Kitty, Dust,..) are not the biggest nuke so you can't really nuke him in 30 seconds with 100% health remained.

Yes he's still a Defensive Threat

Bullseye is better than him but he can still be dangerous

I think he’s still useful but if I was in your situation with Kim, Korg and Bulls all ranked up, I would probably leave him on the bench.

He's definitely dangerous in path 7 in AW. I don't have him yet, but while playing against him, I found Storm X counters him well, but she cant counter him at 100%, she still takes Thorns damage. Overall, only those champions who can counter Thorns damage can counter him, imo. Still working on discovering him completely.

He probably doesn't scare anyone, but on the other hand it can be an advantage. Suddenly they have forgotten him, and have not chosen any good counters...and have to take 10-20% health loss.

Path 7 gets turned into joke with white mags + Kitty combo, one stun and fight is over.

I think electro is better if you're just looking to catch someone off guard, he do more contact damage.

I think he’s still relevant, but he’s gotten weaker with time.

I have him at r3. He’s not a crazy defender but he’s still really good. Either you take some chip damage, or you use shuri that takes at least a minute in bg, so he stalls. I don’t regret ranking him.
