July is here and we're adding a new Incursions Challenge into the Arcade Games Saga!
We're introducing a new Sector that requires the use of Saga champions along with new and exclusive Arcade Games Saga Rewards that can only be found in the Challenge Sector. Shocker (Tech) and The Overseer (Science) will be showcased as the new Themed Zone bosses with Tech and Science champions fighting alongside them. To help with this new threat, we have worked toremove and retune some overly punishing buffs that have both plagued runs and created unwinnable scenarios for the players.
This Incursions Event will run for the second month of Arcade Games and the themed Zone bosses & champions will remain after the event ends. We will also be removing the Saga Sector difficulty to return the mode back to normal.
Regular Incursions Ends: Monday, Jul 8, 2024
Murderworld Incursions Starts: Wednesday, Jul 10, 2024

Incursions with Updates (Themed Zones & Survival Hacks) Resumes: Friday, Aug 7, 2024
We wanted to reduce the risk of Summoners being thrown into unwinnable situations as a result of the way that we tuned some of the Defender Buff Pools.
Having buffs that look at Defender’s Base Attack is great in content where the values are controlled, but in Incursions, they can lead to insane amounts of unavoidable damage by way of an unlucky hit, or a lack of an RPG immunity. As a result, we have removed some problematic buffs from the pool, and have retuned some interesting Buffs that scale off of the Attackers Base Health instead.
Each one of the above buffs will be replacing their counterparts within the removal list in one way or another. We’ve tuned these Defender Buffs in such a way that allows them to be friendlier in later zones than before, as well as give Summoners more options to tailor their run. Instead of a Heal Block Passive for example, now it’s a Spectre Passive, allowing for more interaction and a less binary challenge.
With the Damage being keyed off of Attacker health means that players who start getting into higher and higher Zones will run into far fewer unwinnable situations as a result of unlucky Buff rolls, or debuffs that they weren’t able to account for. Now Summoners should be more able to survive an encounter within Incursions if one of these buffs is present.
We have removed the above buffs. Some of them because we weren't satisfied with the state of them after retuning. For others, we removed them because they didn’t play well with what the core loop of Incursions is meant to encourage. We may revisit some of these Defender buffs in future, but for the time being, we’ve removed them from rotation.
We are removing problematic Defenders from the Defender Pool for a smoother Summoner experience. With the high randomness in the mode, with few ways to plan for RPG specific Champions, we’ve opted to remove Champions from the pool rather than subject Summoners to dealing with them. Here is your list of Removed Champions:
There are some Champions in this list that may come as a shock to you, but for new characters such as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, we have opted to play it safe and bench her from the Defender pool till we have better data on how difficult she might be in the wild. Other champions, such as Taskmaster, have been benched because his core RPG threat (Debuff Immunity) goes against what Incursions is about, which is high damage through any means necessary.
Others, such as Sersi, mitigate damage through Glancing which isn’t fun to play against unless you have a viable way to counter her.
The performance of the previous Saga Sector did hit the goals we were aiming for. However, we recognize some of the issues regarding the length of time it takes to get through these zones, so we have made the following changes to ensure a smooth playing experience.
Remaining Unchanged:
The extra Survival based Hack pickup node in the Saga Sector will remain as well as the other Boss Hack node that has all 28 Boss Hacks to choose from.
Only Arcade Saga tagged champions will be able to enter the Saga Sector.
Changes:
Top Zone rewards will be distributed from Zones 1 to 15
Due to the drop in Zones required to complete a Saga run we will be tuning the initial difficulty up slightly
Zone 1 will start at the tuning that Zone 5 usually is for Sector 6
Zone 15 will end at the tuning that Zone 19 has for Sector 6
Themed Zones will showcase new Bosses and defending champion pools.
The new bosses will be: The Overseer (Science) and Shocker (Tech). These bosses will stay after the Saga event ends until the next Saga update.
The Defending champion pools will showcase the entirety of the Science & Tech rosters minus the Defender Removal list of the relevant Class Defenders, a total of 91 champions.
We are opening up access to all Sectors no matter your roster PI, the recommendations won’t affect your ability to access them.
Please note: This only lets you access different Sectors such as the Saga Sector, if you don’t meet the reward tier requirements for a Sector by having the required number of champions you won’t be eligible for Top Zone rewards when playing on it. Below are the Champion requirements for each tier of rewards.
Sector Reward Tier Requirements:
Tier 1 = 24 > 6-Star champions
Tier 2 = 16 > 6-Star Champions
Tier 3 = 8 > 6-Star Champions
Tier 4 = 8 > 5-Star Champions
Tier 5 = 16 > 4-Star Champions
Tier 6 = 8 > 4-Star Champions
Tier 7 = No requirement
You can find this info in game by tapping on the “View Rewards” button then select “Milestone Rewards” and “View All”
Your Tier will determine what Top Zone rewards you can obtain. You are only eligible for three reward tiers at one time. For example if you are in the Tier 1 bracket you are eligible for rewards from Sectors 5-7. To view this info tap on the same "View Rewards” button, you will be taken to the Top Zone rewards page. Tap between each tier to see what Sectors Top Zone rewards you are eligible for. Grayed out rewards mean you aren’t eligible for them.
The Saga Sector Top Zone rewards are the only updates to rewards as represented below. Do note, the Top Zone will only have 15 Zones, and the rewards will reflect that:

“The dungeon” keeps crashing when you try to enter
Lower sectors seem fine.

I am having the same issue. Has to be a bug, I quit so I don’t fight without rewards.
It's not that bad.
Aegon and Angela/Odin.
But less, 15 rooms is also very nice too.
I only have Angela r4 so haven't tried that team yet but been messing with bullseye and hemostatic charge has been Hella fun.
And yes, 15 rooms is a huge bonus!
X-Magika Saga had:
111,000 artifacts
7,000 7* shards
5,000 Titan shards
This Murderworld saga has
61,000 Artifacts (50,000 less)
4,750 7* shards (2,250 less)
3,750 Titan Shards (1,250 less)
I should point out that Sector 6 has 92,000 artifacts. Just seems strange to have less rewards in that regard in a higher sector with more restrictions. Also I understand that the rewards would have been nerfed because the incursions were made easier overall by lowering the rooms and having overall less difficulty. But in all honesty I'd rather have more difficulty for much better rewards. And why can't the rewards just be pushed into those lower levels and spread out anyway?
(I just can't get those artifacts fast enough as I am trying to pull Hulkbuster so bad. He's the only one I really wanted and yet after 6 incursions crystals, he is the only one I haven't pulled. I even duped CapIW)
I tried Vox/Angela/Odin + Buff Cornucopia. Of course I ran into unavoidable nullify.
I tried Bullseye/Black Cat + Hemostatic charge. I immediately got bleed immume defenders and/or Tenacity everywhere.
I am okay with trying multiple time and eventually maybe reviving, but it almost seems as if the nodes reflect my hack/team choice. I wouldn't wanna conspire here tho
What they actually mean is you have to go work an actual job to earn money to spend on the best rewards... just in case you didn't know. Good luck with your bank accounts moving forward, I'll no longer feel any need to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to stay relevant in a game that's designed to frustrate you into spending.
Whether that is due to less roadblock nodes, lucky RNG on hacks, or having better Saga champion options (like Aegon), my Saga Incursions experience was better than the last one.
With the previous saga incursions, it seemed like one mistake would doom a run. But with the current incursions, it seemed like I was able to salvage a run despite having some mistakes. Didn't have to use any items either, as the healing nodes weren't stuck on paths with unwinnable defenders.
It looks like game knew I was using bullseye with the hemostatic hack which applies taunt and game threw annhilus boss who gets unblockable unstoppable forever. My run was going smooth till then until I encountered this room.
I quit
One of the biggest problem in this game is timer issues. Here in game says incursion will end in 9 days but according to this forum post incursion will end in August 4.
Now which timer is correct can pls someone clarify
Thank you
@KabamDORK
@Kabam Crashed
Further, announcement does say after short break the Themes Zones continue.
From game timers.. Sun Aug 4, ultimately concluding Top Zone Fri Aug 9 from in game.
Although top of announcement here is indeed very contradictory.
Wed Aug 4th, resuming Fri Aug 7th.
(**Neither those days of week match their date #’s, and also 2 days apart vs 3 days apart)
So … ???
