Kabam do you guys not understand there is a huge difference between a paragon player looking for a second r3 7 star and cavalier players ? Come on now... This is just not right for any Paragon player..there is no value in this unless I spend like 18k units seriously ?
This is so messed up I'm used to kabam doing this to us but I mean there is clearly no line for them and that comment that jax made in this thread has to be a joke surely... I really hope they don't get any big spenders this year what they are doing is criminal cav players getting fast tracked and paragon player getting nothing of value unless they spend half a grand to a grand what a joke, as I say used to kabam doing this but I mean come on do you guys care so little about your fan base and really just want to squeeze our bank accounts I hope the community boycott this event !
A Paragon Valiant without touching necro or Glykhan;
A TB Valiant after a Future Kang and Cerastes fight;
And a Cav Valiant after autoleveling to TB and aforementioned FK and Cerastes fights
You widen your potential customer base and give them abundantly easy paths to the highest progression level, and of course all metrics point to valiants as the chief revenue generators, so more revenue generation! Bonuses for all!
As Paragon all I'm after is T4 alpha. These deals literally won't bring any type of progression as all of it I can get naturally. So won't be spending any units.
You're looking at this backwards: Paragon aren't being pulled down to Cavalier, Cavalier is getting pulled up to Paragon.
Am valiant so offer's discussed here don't really concern me but this is an absolute insane response towards the issue. People are referring to paid offers here with value typically aimed towards getting to the next progression level.
I've heard your statements on the live streams talking why higher progression players should be happy for lower progression players but this ain't it. If we are talking about game content/quest rewards, great, cavalier is being pulled up so players can enjoy the same rewards, paragons should be happy for them. But this clearly isn't the same situation here. Paragon offers are potentially being toned down due to the bracket extending towards lower progression players resulting in 'less value for the buck'
I hope this was a sudden response without much thought going into it instead of echoing the prinicple behind the game economy team because otherwise it simply souds like a ' **** off unless you're at the highest progression tier' situation.
Okay, let's get this all out there, because there's a lot of perspectives bouncing around on this.
The facts are, Cavalier, Thronebreaker and Paragon are all grouped in together, yes.
Moving beyond facts to inteprepretation/perspective: As I previously mentioned, it's easy to interpret this as "Paragon are getting worse deals because they're connected to Cavalier." However, from the tuning intention of the gameteam, the reality is: "Cavalier Summoners are getting better deals because they're getting deals catered to Paragons." There's evidence of this exact sentiment in this thread when people are saying there are resources available to Cavaliers that they shouldn't need, because they're too end-game-focused.
To address this directly: "Paragon offers are potentially being toned down due to the bracket extending towards lower progression players resulting in 'less value for the buck'" - they are not. Again, I understand how easy it is to find this perspective, but as someone aware of the intention in building these deals, I assure you that is not the case.
Realistically, the amount of time and energy it takes to create and balance an event of this magnitude is waaaaay bigger than you think it is. It is outside the realm of possibility for every progression bracket to get their own deals. So, again, the team casts a wider net and groups different groups together. In this case, Cavalier are getting better deals as a result.
Trying to make the argument that Summoners below you shouldn't get as much of an opportunity to progress because they're a lower progression level, is a losing battle. A strong Summoner celebrates another Summoner's opportunity to grow. Don't be the type of person to climb the ladder and pull it up behind you.

Problem here is the deals don’t really seem catered to Paragons. Unless you really whale out there’s very little of value

But does a Cav player really need a 7* r3 to progress to Thronebreaker? Is it absolutely necessary to give them that opportunity?
Especially with the alternative progression paths introduced recently, it feels very unnecessary
Not trying to make the case that summoners below you shouldn't get an opportunity. Trying to make the case you shouldn't take away opportunity from folks at all levels, which is not the case here.

Elaborate because that makes absolutely no sense to me . I could understand if you told me it was hard to code it because I don’t know anything about coding but hard from balancing perspective ? Really? Come on

$950 spend will get:

On paper, of course.
The whole thing is absolutely absurd.

Whereas Thronebreakers and ESPECIALLY Cavalier find incredible value for multiple rings of tiers towards progressing their accounts.
I was ready to $pend $pend *if* it meant I could get closer to Valiant. I'm not spending on this nightmare.

I guess the paragons are dissapointed as they look forward to these events but get let down.

Ah well, there's always December.
You guys should've created seperate offers for each tiers, that would be appropraite for a event of this magnitude.
Want to break ftp players
Can't give them good enough rewards at 24k or 21k units like before ?
As an valiant player u require 36k units to get generic gem
According to u guys 36k units = necro exploration rewards still after 1 year of event ?
U guys told that game has moved out of necro phase but these deals are not telling the same.
But yes, we have made note of Paragons' frustrations. The team is aware; it's certainly something we'll take into consideration in future.
