There's no timer anywhere on the screen, during this fight. He begins to evade while still in the air, lands, and continues to evade, even though I hit him. This should have been an intercept with armor break debuff on him.
The timer is invisible. However if he evades even before 7 secs, that should be a bug as heβs only supposed to evade exactly every 7 seconds
He's been bugged for an incredibly long time then. I can't even count how many times I've had him evade multiple hits in a row or on back to back combos. For years he has been simply evading whenever he wants.
That has something to do with evade in itself. There was an old DNA post about it. Like how AOU Ultron has a window where he evades all attacks, champs like classic Spidey also do it. So while it seems like they're evading multiple hits , it's just one evade carrying over to multiple hits performed in succession
The timer is not invisible; this is the rarer Ultron. He just evades whenever and however he wants. Two different champs, the more common variety thatβs been in the crystals forever is the one with the green timer.
So we have to do a mental countdown to the next evade?? Lmao. Smh
Not really. If you're experienced enough fighting him, you'll always know if he will evade the next hit or not
It's always been the case,because when everyone else got updates to show their workings LolTron just got left collecting dust, hell we don't even have a 6* version yet. Still rocking his years old kit that is like a tweaked version of old AOU Ultron. Hopefully if he ever comes as a 6/7* we have a better and more visual kit.
He also needs a buff as well, compared to the other Ultron, this Ultron isnβt even remotely as good

And (not sure if Lab Ultron does this or not), for example BLACK WIDOW Evade seems to potentially do multiple in rapid fire on your very quick successive attacks. My thinking there is that Widow will Evade for a full 1 second, not just a single time.

Depending what fraction of that second you began your attack, might just be 1 evade, but might be 2 successive evades. Seems like Lab Ultron might be that way too. Others have already mentioned, but long before there was a thing called an βevade chargeβ thatβs what Ultron had: the Function Evade(7s) thing is what we would today describe as Ultron gaining an evade charge every seven seconds, not evading every seven seconds. If Ultron could literally only evade attacks that happened at seven second intervals that would be borderline worthless.
This would be a good time to remind people of the other Evade peculiarity that has long been reported as a bug even though it is not a bug, although it isnβt clearly explained anywhere either and is a deep technical design decision. When something βevadesβ the evade does not work the way some might expect, as a singular triggered event. Rather, the evade happens by setting some kind of state that causes the champion to evade incoming attacks. That state has a duration, and in some cases that duration is significant, which is why Classic Spider-Man and Black Widow could often evade multiple rapid attacks. They were not triggering multiple evades (which would seem to be impossible given the stated evade chance) they were triggering one βgo into evade modeβ state, which lasts a little while.
Iβm not sure if thatβs precisely how it works in the code under the hood, but thatβs how it works observationally. One 7% trigger can allow a champ to evade multiple attacks if the champ βseesβ them as all one sequence of hits in a small window. And I suspect this was a deliberate decision way back when, because if you would bypass any non-guaranteed evade by just attacking quickly, that would render such evades meaningless.
Yeah Ultron Prime is tricky if you forget those evades, and when he evades multiple hits (e.g. specials) he keep evading until it's done. Once you keep track of it though, you can plan around it, go in to trigger the evade and then go back out then you have 6 seconds to go to town. Medusa should shut it down with Armour Shatter, or any other evade counters.

Anyway, yeah, this Ultron was a real pain. I used arkhus and he would still evade.
