Does anyone think that Mr Negative will be more valuable to rank up & play when 7* Rank 3 Rintrah’s are everywhere in BG’s? He isn’t immune to Neutralise, but his degen & heal reversal after the SP2 absolutely melts Rintrah, Sasquatch, Abs Man, etc. Mr Negs doesn’t seem to get ranked up or played much in general nowadays. What do y’all think? Will he become more valuable?

    @Herbal_Taxman Yeah that’s true. The only way to avoid the issue is to hold block & allow the defender to dash in and hit the your block once, then on the 2nd hit of the defenders combo, hold heavy and get the reversal. His block proficiency isn’t ideal for this though.

    Mr negative is an excellent champ, he just happens to be overshadowed by other science champs.

    Hao fans will use and make him work. If you weren't a big fan before rintrah returns then I doubt you'll use him afterwards

    He’s always been solid.
    He be shredding, and i rarely pull him in bgs and i couldnt find any other results besides these 2

    I r2 him, but can't get the hang of him. I've watched videos, but I think I need it written down to fully understand his rotation. Anyone care to share?

    Bingo. You can sit there and hold heavy and the defender doesn’t want to dash in. Just another champ the passive AI has nerfed to the ground

    @willrun4adonut Parry, Heavy, Dash Back (do this 3 times in a row). After this you should have 9 light energy. Next, Hold heavy when the defender dashes at you to reverse intercept them & convert the 9 light energy into 9 dark energy. Repeat this exact rotation again so that you have 18 dark energy. Throw the SP2.

    {Note: Instead of holding your heavy until the defender dashes at you. Hold your block until the defender hits your block with their dash attack. After the defenders dash attack hits your block, hold heavy so that the defenders next hit gets reverse intercepted.}

    That’s it. Mr Negs doesn’t have the most simple playstyle, but it feels pretty easy once you’ve done it enough.
