Not really. I like Daredevil, but don't get the over excitement. For me it just looks like the other show form Netflix, not much going on. We already got Hawkeye, Echo and Moon Knight (I know they are not exactly the same thing) with choreographed fight scenes and all. I like when they go full experimental, which means I liked some of the shows post end game, and this just feels like the the same from before end game. That's all

Well that's probably because this is a direction continuation of the Netflix show. Only made by Disney instead.

To be fair I also enjoyed Michael Clark Duncan's version. But it's a different take.

Netflix Daredevil is one of those weird shows that you just have to watch to know how good it is. Cause if you watch clips of it online without much context, it might feel like a cheap CW show with melodrama and hammy acting. I avoided watching it for so long thinking that but decided to give it a try during covid lockdown. Binged the entire three seasons within a week. I believe Vincent's Kingpin is one of the best portrayals of a comic book villain of all time alongside Heath Ledger's Joker and Collin Farrell's Penguin.

Mayor Fisk huh, so is this based on Devil's reign? Isn't that the mini series that didn't stick the landing cause it ended with Daredevil letting Kingpin go because trying to take over everything "is in his nature" or something?

I watched it on disney plus and wasnt a fan some parts were good some not as good but couldnt really get into it still even with the good parts

Looks pretty cool. Hoping it actually IS cool this time. MCU has died for me, more or less.

Why did DD stop being a vigilante in the MCU? I never finished Netflix DD.
He still is one of course, watch She Hulk

from the original series after season 1 from what i can remember he didn't want to be a vigilante unless there was a major need for it i.e. punisher, fisk and bullseye.

but the versions in she hulk and echo feel more like different daredevils taken from a different point in his career as suppose to the version who left his friends and went back to being a lawyer mostly

Considering they are already starting to film Season 2 without seeing the numbers for this one, they are hinging their bets that it will be successful. DD on Netflix was phenomenal, along with Punisher. Very excited for 3/4.

I mean it was already planned as one big 1st season, the episodes they're filming now were going to be filmed anyone they just split it in half
