Battlegrounds Solo Milestones are extremely outdated

As someone who has been valiant since the title was available, just 100% completed epoch and pushes BGs every season, this is horrible. Why are we still getting 6* shards for HALF of the milestones??
This desperately needs updated and I genuinely do not understand why it takes so long do so. Is this not just a numbers adjustment? I’m not asking for the world here, at least just replace the 6* shards with 7* shards because this is getting ridiculous at this point

You don't like 1500 6* shards? Unbelievable 😲
That 6 should be 7 at the very least
Kabam wants you to open your wallet if you want something good
There's a couple hundred people complaining the rewards are not worth pursuing, and a couple hundred thousand players actually pursuing them. You're simply being outvoted.
To be honest, I think those rewards are not all that great either, but in general the point to game rewards is to be high enough to encourage players to chase them and literally no higher than that. The lower they are, the flatter the economy curve is, the longer the game will be able to hold off reward tier cycling, and the more likely the game will last longer overall. Most players think the devs are supposed to do the reverse: make the rewards as high as possible without being game breaking. But in fact, in games as a service where the goal is to make the game last as long as possible, the goal is the exact opposite.
The players believe the higher the rewards are, as long as they are not too high, the more exciting the game will be (at least in the short term) and they are right. The devs believe the lower the rewards are, as long as they are not too low, the more likely it is they will have jobs in the future, and they are also right. Guess which one wins if you are a professional developer. Guess which argument always wins when your rent is on the line.
For example, let's say you finish #2000 overall in GC last season.
Yet that would be like #20,000 overall in milestone rank rewards.
Basically, people are losing but still piling up points even past the top milestone to get the rank rewards.
They're basically exploiting the loophole of losing your way to the top.
That needs to change.
“As long as they aren’t too low”. - 6 star shards are too low. They might as well make them 4 star shards. They are iso. Even the nexus is just iso for the majority of valiants.
There is literally someone reading this now that is tempted to say something like once again, I'm saying no one should give feedback or some other nonsense. Me, the person with more feedback items that actually found their way into the game than probably any other three players. It is probably purely coincidental that I spent a lot of (mostly wasted) time explaining how game development works, how game designers think, how the design of this game functions, and the fact that a lot of my ideas have managed to incorporate themselves into the game. I imagine that must be super annoying to observe from the outside, with no awareness of the connection between the two.
By all means, have the last word while you're at it. I don't really need it, as mine don't show up here anyway,
It gets extraordinarily frustrating being condescendingly talked down to because ‘clearly we aren’t developers’ as if we were asking for a titan crystals every milestone. These milestones haven’t changed in what … a year at least ? Is it healthy for a game economy not to progress that long? Well, even Kabam doesn’t think so as they admit other monthly content with rewards just as stale need a complete overhaul which they claim they are working on.
The game is in a bad spot for rewards for playing the game. You can argue this is what the game developers want…fine. Then you go so far to say responses like mine are why they don’t read the forums. Well, shut the forum down too then if it doesn’t matter. My comment isn’t the only one in this thread contradicting you. Nor is this the only thread.
Apparently the community here is becoming more and more worthless to the game as a whole and you just said the quiet part out loud.
They are just waypoints on a longer destination. As long as the final milestones are somewhat desirable, those 6* shards are unlikely to change. They are beside the point.
What’s the point? While it would be nice to get rarer milestone prizes, BG chips and the BG store, rank rewards, GC are the real prizes — and they are what truly needs a bit of retuning.

Not complaining because it’s a very easy season imo.
Funny how an entire season of bg and aw won't let you open a 7*. But 20 days of autplaying few quests a day will let you open one.
But it takes them years, 2 years, 3+ years to buff up the tewards.
Contempt is the end state relationship between lots of businesses and their customers, especially when at least some of the product’s enduring success can be attributed to an addictive component.
Fun to see that everyone’s favorite developer proxy on the forums is so up-front about it.
Idk how many times it needs to be addressed but every month they seem to hype everything up in the livestream without buffing alot of rewards in general
We waited YEARS for Sigil buff and overall reaction and feedback has been negative 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can’t wait to see what march 2025 has to offer lol
You can't convince me that 5 star crystals are useful in todays game for someone that's got 34 7-star champs at my level of progression. Just one of many examples of how out of touch KABAM is.
Fair points. I haven’t pushed for the Titan shards for a few seasons now because I value the time I would spend out of game more than another shot at a pool of *exclusive* champs.
As for “contempt,” that’s a strong word. However, it’s hard to escape the sense that there is a profound disconnect between those who make the game and those who play the game (cf. Jax comment re: how the devs don’t see time as a meaningful resource).
