Nobody likes 0-death war, but I feel the new map is overtuned.

    Despite what some folks may try to convince otherwise, it definitely feels like Kabam wants to make AW incredibly hard due to low deaths up top and increase item usage. They just don't understand that it's a trickle down effect and people below will just want to stop playing and it'll reduce engagement from the mode.
    Overturning war to such a level is an absolutely moronic move and probably what someone who doesn't actually know war did or probably one of the git gud guys who think everything is easy and want war to be hard since they enjoy it that way.

    They did say part of the changes is to make newer champs have better space in AW. Translation, we want new champs to sell better than they are now. Smart move for them. Not just relying on BGs to make champs popular. They probably already have champs lined to counter specific nodes on the map coming sometime this year.

    i have a lot of t1 experience but i'm pretty average among my peers. i don't like very low death wars because that's an added level of stress, but there comes a point where increasing difficulty past a certain level makes war not doable even for very seasoned players.

    pushing difficulty into unforgiving territory where only the best of the best (think top 3 teams) are capable and willing to clear is not good for the game imo.

    if the map is designed to need 10-15k units a season just for grey boosts and chip damage is bad enough where we need the biggest heals that we can't purchase with loyalty just to clear safely, then a lot of players will be alienated.

    we'll see how it turns out, but we've been through this before where kabam overtunes the map then adjusts it after backlash. let's hope the new map is balanced.

    Been playing this game for 9 years and fought in every war since I’ve started playing. This is the biggest difficulty increase I’ve ever seen and wouldn’t be surprised if more people are driven away from doing AW.

    It’s becoming clear the only way to play Mcoc is to be A very wealthy wealthy wealthy person. Normal people can’t afford to spend 1000 dollars a war season and if this is what Kabam needs to stay afloat it’s time to just end the game. This is sickening how much they are monetizing everything

    Bro must crashed must only do 4 fights per war on an easy path. He don’t understand how bad this is gonna be for player mental health.
