Okay. so this does suck. I am in the middle fighting Korg with a r3 guardian with 15 charges. I am doing 1% damage on him equating to max 300K points. That's just not right. the champion pool needs to be looked at. I am not saying that every champ gets the full damage (though you should be with good play able to with any of them) this has to be sorted.
We are facing an issue with Hyperion / Ironheart in Korg fight. Left path has the mission to punish heavy/special attack from Korg to gain raid fervor, but the punish attack of Hyperion/Ironheart misses in most cases (light and medium). Other champions like Joe Fixit don‘t have this issue and punish attack hits as expected.
I'm on left side korg is last boss. Node tells you to punish specials and heavy and then there's thorn damage. Used up free 7 revives to bring him down 45%. He also keep comboing into block. he's got like anti-heavy bias.
I know it's supposed to be hard... But the bugs are stopping most of us.
Ngl, Tactician has the doggipoopie pool of attackers.
This is just stupid, fighting korg on the middle path you spend all your time doing light attacks to remove rock stacks then he either acts like an idiot and you do no damage or you have to evade and he goes unstoppable and unblockable and you do no damage, you do 1 medium hit by mistake when he has rock stacks you loose like 30% of your health probably more, its just stupid
It's so fun to get past the ridiculous Korg on the right path just to get to WeaponX and have the dex not trigger over and over again. I guess that's part of the "it's meant to be very difficult". Yes, it's difficult to get the game to function the way that it's supposed to.

Just wait till you get to the apoc boss, who has crush you can't turn off and also apparently works through champs that can block unblockable specials. Also also, while he has the crush he is unstoppable on dashes and of course he has his normal stun immune on hits. I am not sure who thinks fights where you can only actually fight for 30s and then have to dance around for for 15-20 sec is fun, but maybe stop letting them design fights.
It really sucks that reg rewards aren't very good but nightmare raids are just ridiculous and not worth the energy it's a terrible place to be stuck in
I don’t mind Kabam creating Mega hard content to challenge guys at the top, not sure what % of players they felt this would be a reasonably achievable challenge for, the korg fight and final boss feel well over the top to me. That said i know there are lots of players out there whose skill sets eclipse mine so to them I say enjoy nightmare raids going forwards and to Kabam I say thanks but no thanks it’s an hard pass from me. Think I will stick with the stripped back version. 😊.
Fighting weapon x in the middle land with my rank 4 kushala I can do max 4% damage ? Surely thats not right haha and thats being in there for the full 3 minutes
One of our 3 paths has managed to make it to the Apoc boss after using all of our AQ items the fight is impossible to do damage in. The crush passive cause you to die right away unless it happens to come up when he has less than a bar of power. Apocs specials cannot be consistently dexed, so the crush charge just because a fight ender. We need more than 7 free revives to balance this. The crush charge needs to be turned off and we need some more revives. This feel like the old act 6 bosses before they were balanced properly.
Is anybody else on the right hand side having trouble getting dex to register against WpnX seems like I'm going mad. He constantly gets that prompt too
Yes, that’s a very annoying bug. About every 7-8 dex is registered which might lead to a situation where you’re pinned in your corner and seriously violated by Weapon X.
Apoc does outlandish damage with his sp1 if you get caught by even 1 of the beams the resulting debuff just ticks you health away to nothing in a few seconds, I find it hard to dex all 3 beams which you have to because of the crush. If you do get caught by a portion of the attack you take so much debuff damage that you can’t try ride the next sp1 out by blocking as there’s so much block damage. I am sure there are players out there that can dex the sp1 no problem but the damage output from it seems over the top. Also it feels like I am getting the crush charges even though I complete the prompts.
Just sharing my experience really, it was advertised as hard but obviously like most alliances we wanted to give it a go. Personally I don’t like the idea of a defender like Korg in this sort of challenge where only a few select champs can deal with his awakened ability, yes you can parry and do lights to remove rock stacks but when the task is to land 4 mediums before a penalty kicks in and you have to remove the rock stacks in the first instance it adds an unnecessary level of difficulty. Anyway seems everyone in this thread has reached the same conclusion with regards to Korg. Hopefully going forward we will see defenders that the majority of attackers allowed can handle with the appropriate level of skill
Yeah we had the same issues. Our team has both iron heart and Hyperion. We have managed to get to Apoc, but with only 7 revives left each (on top of spending AQ revives and heals/units). Now we find Apoc is truly a nightmare. A great fight is about 6% damage if you can live long enough. I am fairly sure we won’t be finishing raids this time and i assume we aren’t alone. We are no slouches either (7mil, 30k prestige, very good players). One is even a streamer.
I understand it was supposed to be difficult and I knew we may not finish the first time so I’m not really mad. However, I do think the nightmare raids were just a bit overturned. It’s hard to really understand the nodes from reading and I’m combination with the multiple bugs (medium whiff, thorns, early wx bug) it just seemed nearly impossible. If the testing team completed this with 7 less revives they are truly some of the best players on the game.
I hope Kabam hears and understands just how inaccessible the raids are for 95% of players. I have faith they will. It’s the first one so I’m gonna give a bit of space to fix it.
To end on a positive note, I do think having a hard mode and easy mode is a great idea for the future of the game. The crucible was a huge success with community. It helps newer players catch up and gives end game players difficult content to play.

Yeah Apoc is pretty nutty. It is not just you. You cannot actually stop the crush in any way. There is no skill ask, no champ rotation, no prompts that can stop it. You can only make it be slightly less long, but at best it is still 12 sec every 30. And apparently crush beats the ability to block unblockable specials. OG Iron man sounds like he would be a good counter on paper, can block unblockable specials from mutants, invalidate prowess, has super high damage when in arc reactor. And yet that crush means you cannot block the specials (not sure if bug or not). And while it is up he is unstoppable during dashes so you cannot intercept him either. I will admit that if you can dex his specials completely then you can get openings, but otherwise you are stuck trying to bait a heavy without baiting a special or dancing around until the crush ends. Unless you did happen to bring adam warlock to be unblockable so you can get your own opening, you have to wait it out. So like I get that this is supposed to be hard, but really when you have a mode where you can only bring a single champ from a tiny pool of champs, then all of those champs should be viable for the fights. And also possibly my personal opinion, but raids was fun because you could learn the fights and do some huge damage, these fights where you have to wait out timers so that you can do prompts so you can do damage are really not fun to me.
The crush passive with his SP1 is nuts! Had they given him an SP2 bias, it would have been much more fair. Frankly, with all his other defense mechanics, he would still be a challenge.

we made it to the apoc fight but that passive crush is overtuned. 7 revives are not enough.
Genuinely not sure what the gameplan is supposed to be against that crush. You can’t block so no openings via parry or baiting a heavy, and while it’s active Apoc is unstoppable while dashing so no intercepts. If you can’t force an opening via your own unblockable attacks or have some counter to his unstoppable dash, is the intended fight design really just to sit there and do nothing but dex for 12+ seconds, usually much longer? It’d be one thing if you could afford to take your time and the crush was just a downtime of the fight, but raids have a strict time limit that really doesn’t let you take things slow like that.
And I’m speaking as someone who’s using Purgatory, who has (limited) access to slow and can attempt to nuke Apoc quickly before crush gets rolling. Sometimes it works alright, but even with Purgatory you sometimes just get stuck with the crush trying to get an opening to complete missions so you can disable the protection and take Apoc down. If he’s feeling particularly uncooperative, you’re dead before you can activate your nuke.

But we did korg in middle path. Was actually ok, but was a tough fight.
Cleared it using colossus and hulking and storm. Storm didn’t do so well. HULKLING wa decent, colossus was great.

Then parry heavy into sp2. Repeat. Worked well.

With all these bugs, rewards aren't even at decent level.
Come on Kabam we can easily get t4a/t6cc shards from BG/Glory store as well for so cheap.
