This video is much more my voice. The casual player experience sucks… monthly content needs to feel more rewarding than what it has for a long time. And no, no one is asking for it to include an R4 7 star gem in monthly content.
Have the Everest stuff for the sweaty try hards and the content creators, but quit neglecting the fact there a bunch of valiants out here that aren’t that.
Yeah especially when I can remember when monthly Eq and side quests were exciting. Hell, the 2 years where they buffed 2 champs per was awesome. And rebalance program wasn't a thing and you wanted to rank a new champ knowing they'll be relevant somewhere. Now, I'm kind of meh towards all of it. I pull a new champ these days, I won't rank them until the rebalance comes AND I see them getting used in content. So in my case, if I'm not getting excited and ranking new champs, mysterium and side quests are pointless. And as for those good tier champs that aren't yet 7-Stars, I already know they are going to put them behind a huge pay wall.
Great video. I agree with a lot of it, some of it I don't, but I always appreciate Seatin's perspective.
Just out of curiosity, what points do you notably agree/disagree with? You obviously don't need to (and shouldn't) call Seatin out, but I feel providing some more detail will help generate some more constructive debate and also ensure that the playerbase's points are actually being taken into consideration.
It would take a full post/video the length of his to share my thoughts, but at a high level what I agree with:
Monthly content being way behind where it needs to be
Rewards and objectives not being communicated well and getting lost in the UI
Feeling lost in Sagas
Bad Battlegrounds matchmaking experience for large groups of players
The knowledge and skill requirements to play at the highest level are insane
General lack of desire to chase new champions
The knowledge and skill point aside, we thankfully have work ongoing to address all of the other points.
I would say the main thing I disagree with is his assessment of some of the content he talks about, especially story content. We have some user research for instance that says most end-game players enjoy Act 8, whereas he doesn't seem to.
I believe the main problem with story content that seatin highlight is not enjoyable it can be, but how dependent on getting the right champions to do the path or champion with, or in the most extreme case even having the champion and the path is very unenjoyable (e.g. one of the science paths in 9.1 that had debuff immunity and requires debuff).

Glad to see the team is aware of the things that are going wrong in the game right now. I think what would be nice is sort of a roadmap, showing what the team is working on to address these points, what the priorities are etc; Because It is nice knowing you are working on it, but it would be a bit more reassuring knowing what the results of that are
Yeah when seatin stops shilling for crypto maybe I'll take him seriously again
Good thing nobody cares about you being serious or not. Crashed replied, said he values seatin's perspective. Gave a detailed answer. And that's good enough for now.
The man is the OG for a reason. Hes just nailed it and ge rarely contributes anymore. Gotta love the honesty all these guys are showing. Basically saying invest in or end the game. We're all tired of being in purgatory with this stuff.

I loved act 8. Other than that, I agree with most of what seatin said. Also, make 9.2 healthpools a bit lower pls. 500k for one champ is too much. I don't want each fight to be 10 mins

This is interesting. Is the user research that says end-game players enjoy act 8 the surveys you send out? Or another way? It’s curious to see how you know players enjoy content.
We do surveys and focus groups.
Thank you for sharing your opinion about this matter but I have a question why did the devs change the BG objectives in the previous 2 chase champs you got the magentro crystal and the ticket in the bg objectives why did you move it to the end of VC wouldn't have been better if you kept it like the same format like the last 2 chase champs bg objectives. I would love to hear the honest feedback Crashed.

Shut your mouth
Wow... you really are a special kind of stupid 😮💨
Clout chasing ****
Aren’t you the guy that was in forum jail? You should be on my side not against me. These mods are abusing their power
Unfortunately, the mods can only close your posts. The live ops team, on the other hand, can track down your main game account and permanently ban it. Even if you haven’t logged in for the past three weeks.

One thing i hated about act 8 was some gimmick nodes where "If you do this thing, you would do a million damage on your heavy attack/special 2", but i hated the specific node only, also the heavy lag issue on certain stages ( Road to knowhere and Asgard vault)...I think story content are fine, other than that they are being released at a very slow pace compared to the other content, which is understandable
Do us all a favor, and take a look in the mirror. Cause, that’s pretty rich coming from the “Boohoohoo BGs pause button” guy and his MULTIPLE cries about it.
Your whining and incessant nonsensical posts are beyond nauseating.
Just skimmed through a RTM video and laughed at this.
There is no "chasing" new champions. There is a massive paywall behind these new champions ie Bastion and a delay upon release. The only way you get these is through titans and titans are hard to obtain and to get one of these new champs is even harder with the filler champs.
Been playing the game for some time now, and this is the 2nd time I've seen the community raising issues to try and get the game to improve, which usually begins with the whales like Seatin, Rich the Man, and Lagecy pointing out the situation for the rest of the community.
I've been an officer, and a leader in the game, and can agree with most of what is being said. I don't believe that the game will stop being available, but if the "game team", whoever that actually is, doesn't start listening to the community, like they claim to, things will not look good for the future of MCOC. That said, there is room to make the game better. I really do hope things get better, and the game gets back to its enjoyable level.
To me, currently, there's just WAY too much content to try and get done. When I first started, there were simple goals to accomplish, such as AQ, and war maps, and then side quests. Also one of the most enjoyable pieces of the game was the gifting event, which is a far cry from what it used to be now. The last one was not enjoyable at all. I only participated so my alliance could get the rewards. I understand that kabam needs to be "successful" to have the game stick around, but things don't need to be so big, and lengthy.
At any rate, I hope @KabamDORK sees this and is able to understand exactly what us, as the game community, is trying to say. Thanks!
FYI: totally forgot about the raids "nightmare" situation. WTH is that about exactly? Again, WAY too much content to do....

Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Definitely worth watching.
