Ignoring potions and other non-T4ish rewards, I tallied about 1.5 T4CC worth of fragments and crystals and about 4 T4B's worth of fragments and crystals. Switching them to T4CC fragment crystals, that same number of crystals would equal about 2 T4CC worth of fragments.
I don't know if that opening was exactly average, but that doesn't seem to be a net overall value increase to me, and I'm completely ignoring the other rewards that dropped out of the Map 5 crystals (some T3CC, some alliance potions, and a mastery core).

"Not counting Map 5 crystals." I made a very dumb error. I confused completion rewards with conqueror rewards and compared the wrong things. I should have been comparing the value of a T4CC fragment crystal to the 400 T4B fragments you get for a boss defeat, which is a much more reasonable reward change. Given that, I have to agree with you that this switch is not as impactful as I first asserted it to be. It does not impact the availability of T4B in a significant way given all the other sources of T4B that are available to anyone running Map 5 consistently in the first place. My apologies.
I have now played the war update and I have a few concerns. I'm not sure if this is really based on skill or if u are making it easier on purpose. War has loss is touch with this new format and I'm not sure if we can recover from it if it stays the same.
1st there's no originality. Most of the nodes are pretty generic and they do nothing to excite the summoners. Now the fact that you can actually see the class of the champion you're facing you can plan ahead. It does not require much skill now a days because you can switch back-and-forth with summoners to complete a path.
There is no skill now involved. You can either pay to win or since you have the ability to see all the classes ahead of time you can pretty much run through them because still to this day there is no reason to really put unique champions because the nodes do not ask for it .With the new acts 5 chapters, they were Many new nodes even if we like them or not which made the chapters very exciting and different to play. This was the same I was expecting in the new war concept. Some of these ideas could of easily been transferred to the new war.
War should be the most exciting part of the game but it has lost its competitive edge due to the fact it does not matter if you can get through the nodes without dying. Also there has been talks of alliances losings war due to the fact that their placing more champions then their opponents and everyone is completing 100%. The concept of war is not to complete a 100% it should be the most skilled players completing as much as possible. Ideally 100% would go to yes the most skilled team but it should be somewhat difficult to achieve such a goal which should then be satisfying to the summoners if they complete this objective.
I have a few ideas such maybe an ambush node that pops up every now and then .Maybe every hour the nodes switch around so you can never truly plan ahead of time on your attack but take it as it comes. Maybe there is a Warrior that is super strong and that you should send your skill champions to take down as opposed to the 5 mini bosses. Maybe they should be some negative impact if you use items to help the summoner defeat the nodes.
I did not think all of these ideas through but I'm just thinking of more exciting ways of making war the best game mode in this game as much as possible because right now currently this game mode is very stale and it is even getting worse. There might be some other great ideas out there that should be taken into consideration. But at the end of the day war still should be the most skilled and the most complicated aspect of this game that requires ultimate teamwork and strategy to complete
It's worth adding that the new point system is completely useless.
By not having defender kills, we now have whole wars with empty nodes to remove the attacker kill points.... making this a completely broken game.
How about a simple idea? Just admit you made a mistake and roll back war.... just roll it back to what it was before and you guys will have all the time in the world to propose a new war map... one that makes sense.'
Also who ever are your "beta testers", your "expert summoners" that supposedly help you guys... fire them all.... this war is just a complete disaster...

The dumpster fire that is kabam is completely and utterly disappointing since 12.0 it has just been a roller coaster of what's broken what's not fixed what's going to be broken what's changed. I do not know who the developers were before 12.0 but you need to bring them back. Those men and women were intelligent and actually made the game work flawlessly. Since 12.0 to many problems. It looks like from a in game perspective you just have bad coding and really don't know what a lot of your game mechanics are doing in general. You can say cr isn't affecting champs ability to proc and penetrating blocks? Can you give me statistically data on your end that supports this? Im not saying it's a hack on kabams end but it wasn't there before. The flat value system is just a mess and also contributing I feel as well to broken gaming.everything just seems awkwardly worded to a point where in most cases you really don't know what does what to a higher extent. Example why is iceman able to cold snap a debuff immune node? Doesn't make sense right? But it happened on the old man. A lot of things that just don't make a lot of sense. Been here for years and I still at times wonder things. Can dv put brother Daniel on the debuff immune node and will it work? It's technically a debuff that does nothing like loas. Both categorized as a passive debuff I believe.

What does that mean? 6* champs and 5*s can't be maxed you said end of the year but again nothing in act 5.3 to advance 5*s. I'm glad that "seems fine" to you. But think about what 14 t4bs is. To take a 4* champ from r3 to r5, it takes 8 t4bs. To take a 5* champ from r1 to r3 it takes 6 t4bs. So in the broadest sense, if you don't care that much about leveling up events and only focus on one or two champs a month, sure, 14 t4bs is fine (assuming you have the number of t1as).
I used to be in your boat. I used to have t4bs coming out of my ears (and t1as). Now, I have zero t1as and zero t4bs but have 3 or more t4ccs in 4 classes and 2.5 in the other two (and I have only pulled 2 fully formed t4ccs from map 5 crystals this season which is the lowest pull rate I know of--I know many people who have pulled double digit fully formed from running 5x5 weekly).
Does your alliance run aq 5x5? If you are, I can't understand how you aren't swimming in t4ccs now between buying 2 glory crystsls per week along with 1 t4b (I do both of those every week) and all the map 5 frags. I guess it's possible u are just in a lower tier aq and don't have the same resource issues as the person'a

I was just informed a visual bug on Galaxy s8 devices (broken borders) has a live fix, however will not be released until 16.0. Can someone on the mod team please address as to why a live fix will not be made public for another 2-3 weeks?

Where are you getting the other 1.5? I could see maybe another .25 to .5 in daily login/map 5/6 crystal shards maybe? Are u lucking into pulling a fully formed t4b a month from aq? I could see maybe 15 on the few months where t4b runs 4 times in a month, but that's not every month.
Regardless, I'm not disputing that you likely get 14 or 15 per month. That's definitely feasible. Still not enough to rank more than one 4* to r5 and one 5* to r3 (assuming starting at r3 or r1 respectively). And, also need way more t1as when u start ranking 5*s

We do 5x5 every week and finish around 2400 in expert. I do have a good selection of T4C waiting to be used and I do have very little T4B at the moment.
My point was that the replacement of T4B shards in conquerer rewards with T4C shards is a positive move for me anyway. I'm definitely not at the point where I have T4C expiring in stash.
I am not saying I don't want MORE T4B. Hell, everyone could use more. I was just pointing out that in my personal position, any T4C is still more rare than T4B

This was the same I was expecting in the new war concept. Some of these ideas could of easily been transferred to the new war.
War should be the most exciting part of the game but it has lost its competitive edge due to the fact it does not matter if you can get through the nodes without dying. Also there has been talks of alliances losings war due to the fact that their placing more champions then their opponents and everyone is completing 100%. The concept of war is not to complete a 100% it should be the most skilled players completing as much as possible. Ideally 100% would go to yes the most skilled team but it should be somewhat difficult to achieve such a goal which should then be satisfying to the summoners if they complete this objective.
I have a few ideas such maybe an ambush node that pops up every now and then .Maybe every hour the nodes switch around so you can never truly plan ahead of time on your attack but take it as it comes. Maybe there is a Warrior that is super strong and that you should send your skill champions to take down as opposed to the 5 mini bosses. Maybe they should be some negative impact if you use items to help the summoner defeat the nodes.
I did not think all of these ideas through but I'm just thinking of more exciting ways of making war the best game mode in this game as much as possible because right now currently this game mode is very stale and it is even getting worse. There might be some other great ideas out there that should be taken into consideration. But at the end of the day war still should be the most skilled and the most complicated aspect of this game that requires ultimate teamwork and strategy to complete
By not having defender kills, we now have whole wars with empty nodes to remove the attacker kill points.... making this a completely broken game.
How about a simple idea? Just admit you made a mistake and roll back war.... just roll it back to what it was before and you guys will have all the time in the world to propose a new war map... one that makes sense.'
Also who ever are your "beta testers", your "expert summoners" that supposedly help you guys... fire them all.... this war is just a complete disaster...

T4b arena is every 9 days and the monthly quests are... Well, monthly. Not trying to poop on your t4b claims, but I've seen them numerous times now and they're just not accurate.
I won't go into the glory store part of it because everybody gets diff amounts of glory and chooses to use it however it works best for them. Either way, you're overstating the numbers. Now that t4b shards as conqueror rewards (or whatever it's called) have been replaced with t4cc shard crystals, your argument is even more overstated.
It's time to really start fixing your game and making us want to spend on a product we understand and know the exact idea of where things are going and where they will end up. Artifacts in update? What does that mean? 6* champs and 5*s can't be maxed you said end of the year but again nothing in act 5.3 to advance 5*s. And where's all the easier 5*s going to come from?I thought monthly and act 5. Nothing. Did you mean the grandmaster crystal was where we could buy them? If so you should have emphasized this in the beginning not essentially not come to bargain and say here you want this you can buy it. I can't trust a company let alone drive sales when you can't even do your jobs? Where's the ps refunds the master detect refunds? When does it get good for me as a player? Because honestly I miss the old kabam that gave out compensation and rewarded players for loyalty. You have become a greedy completely for profit company and disregarding anything else. If it's netmarble doing this or your all fearing for your jobs. Then so be it. You posted transparency and we got it for a month of that and now it's completely gone. It's sad how my favorite game has become a chore and a job then something I enjoyed. I stay not because I'm having the time of my life but to see if it gets better. I guess the optimist in me sees the bigger picture and wants to see real change. Anyways long post lol.
Don't know what to tell you bro. I easily get 15 T4B a month. I know because I start the month with 0 sometimes and end with 15. Lol
I only do what I stated above. I DO use Glory for nothing but T4B though.
I'm glad that "seems fine" to you. But think about what 14 t4bs is. To take a 4* champ from r3 to r5, it takes 8 t4bs. To take a 5* champ from r1 to r3 it takes 6 t4bs. So in the broadest sense, if you don't care that much about leveling up events and only focus on one or two champs a month, sure, 14 t4bs is fine (assuming you have the number of t1as).
I used to be in your boat. I used to have t4bs coming out of my ears (and t1as). Now, I have zero t1as and zero t4bs but have 3 or more t4ccs in 4 classes and 2.5 in the other two (and I have only pulled 2 fully formed t4ccs from map 5 crystals this season which is the lowest pull rate I know of--I know many people who have pulled double digit fully formed from running 5x5 weekly).
Does your alliance run aq 5x5? If you are, I can't understand how you aren't swimming in t4ccs now between buying 2 glory crystsls per week along with 1 t4b (I do both of those every week) and all the map 5 frags. I guess it's possible u are just in a lower tier aq and don't have the same resource issues as the person'a

9 days t4b arena = 3 per month
Monthly quest = 1.5
Glory = 4
Aq rank = 4
Where are you getting the other 1.5? I could see maybe another .25 to .5 in daily login/map 5/6 crystal shards maybe? Are u lucking into pulling a fully formed t4b a month from aq? I could see maybe 15 on the few months where t4b runs 4 times in a month, but that's not every month.
Regardless, I'm not disputing that you likely get 14 or 15 per month. That's definitely feasible. Still not enough to rank more than one 4* to r5 and one 5* to r3 (assuming starting at r3 or r1 respectively). And, also need way more t1as when u start ranking 5*s
16.0 in 2-3 weeks? What happened to 15.1? That's the one where the Power Burn and Steal bug is supposed to be fixed.

We do 5x5 every week and finish around 2400 in expert. I do have a good selection of T4C waiting to be used and I do have very little T4B at the moment.
My point was that the replacement of T4B shards in conquerer rewards with T4C shards is a positive move for me anyway. I'm definitely not at the point where I have T4C expiring in stash.
I am not saying I don't want MORE T4B. Hell, everyone could use more. I was just pointing out that in my personal position, any T4C is still more rare than T4B
