You actually earn next to nothing for duping a 6*. The least they could do is give additional 6* shards for a dupe lol. If they do what they did when 6* come out I think they gave 6* shards for every 5* you duped thru crystals(not entirely sure seeing as it didn’t affect me at the time)
1) Your chart is outdated. Here is a more up to date one. Ya’ll are welcome.
2) Taking a 5* to it’s max is ~146 t5 class iso or ~331 off class iso. Taking a 6* to it’s max is ~140 t5 class Iso or 297 off class iso. That’s at least 7.3 and at most 16.5 dupes to fully max a 5. At least 7 and at most 14.9 dupes to fully max a 6.
The most glaring flaw in your argument is that you're comparing maxing a 5* to carrying a 6* to rank 2. That negates so much of what you tried to say there.
All of the ones that spend their lives in the arena that think gold is so infinite, let them. Once we hit regular resources to rank 3 6 stars all that gold will disappear and they won't have that cape on anymore. The game cannot sustain as is with the price of 6 star rankups, Kabam knows that. We hit the breaking point in May and they will have to address this issue with the roadmap.

There are many aspects of this game that need to be changed for sure, but hopefully kabam will mention some of these things in their upcoming roadmap. Have to say the 'logic' behind it is spot on. The higher the champ dupe, the higher the amount of ISO, makes perfect sense.
But as someone said earlier, once you are up to having plenty of 5*'s and some 6*'s, you'll open plenty of duped 4*'s and that is where the ISO you need comes in. I have never run out of ISO needed for upgrades. In fact I often end up having to sell it to get extra gold.
Those 4* you have won't matter, as you won't be doing content to get 4* champs. Like atm the value master eq rewards would give you is insignificant, if you completed act 6, and you will probably want to start exploring act 6 instead of wasting time to get one more 4* champ. Plus, iso expires. The best thing one can do atm to have iso when he needs it is to hoard crystals. But hoarding is bad, lol
