Anyone else believe the AI knows which champ it's facing and adjusts accordingly?

There are several instances when the defensive champion effects AI, however the champion you use has no effect.

What you are almost certainly seeing is you playing differently because your using a different champion. You don't play all these champions the same way, so you should expect to see differences in how they play you.

Ghost was mentioned as an example, how many fights do you complete by doing 4 hit combos, backing off and not blocking consistently? Its not the champion the AI is reacting to, its you playing differently.

Entirely possible, yes. I still can't explain the behavior difference in the Defensive node fight. It was such a drastic difference even beginning with the AI opening move. Before it would have had a chance to see my actions in order to respond to them. All good, hopefully I'll capture footage at some point.

    Could be. Very insightful.
Also, dont you think the crystals aren't purely randomised? I mean, they are random, but selective random, where the chances of pulling a bad champ is more than that of a good champ, forget the best champ?

Seems to be the case, though many will say its completely RNG with no lean one way or the other. Over the years I've read things to debunk that, and typically your better champs seemnto be harder to pull, but if thw rebalancing works as planned this may not be as big if an issue as it once was. (Look at Magneto, Cilossus, Carnage, Spider Gwen, and Luke Cage). It of course makes sense though. Wouldnt the team want us to continue hunting champs and opening crystals to find those "good" champs.

Before I learned how to play the standard ghist style if play, I would try to play her like normal champs (5 hit cimbi off of parry, spam heavy in corner, etc). Yes...there was a minor difference in how the computer opponent reacted. I think it is a great feature. Gives that extra element of realism.

The weirdest AI I noticed was Act 4 Groot boss. I took Doom against him and he was super smart. Dodging my hits and counter-attacking like a mf and killing my 4* Doom in the process. When I went in with another champ without class advantage, it was just a regular boss fight. I think I'll do that fight again to see if anything has changed

This is Kabam way of nerfing champs without nerfing/giving out rank down tickets. I personally love baiting out a sp1 or sp2 for a full min with no luck. But they hit that sp3 and instantly kill you dead.

I noticed that when the AI plays as Doom or Wasp it gets the stun passive off more often

The moment you are shocked the Dr doom AI starts abusing the heavy attack.

Has anyone fought 6.2.2 mister sinister lately? Boi, you're in for a treat! Especially if you're using ghost.

I'm gonna leave you guys to try it for yourself, lol.

Not necessarily a complaint, just an observation that I can't realistically deny anymore. Keep in mind I'm just referring to high end content AI. Not all AI.

Attack with Ghost: passive.. backs off, but maybe tries to attack the instant the phase will expire
    Attack with Quake: insanely agressive
Attack with Omega: seems to instinctively back away when death field is up
Attack with Corvus (without an evade charge): Evade champs suddenly won't evade (Even Ultron after 7 seconds)

I wasn't ever completely sure. I knew that there was always the possibility that it's just the perspective we are observing it from (we want them to behave a certain way and only take note when they do not). After the AQ fight I just did, it's really hard for me to deny it now. Map 7/sec 2, there's an NC with the defensive node. I decided to try Ghost. Yep, totally passive. Literally spamming dash back after dash back over and over. I lost (entered with low health). Ok, I decided.. let's try Quake then. She loves passive AI. He immediately dashed in and began swinging non stop the entire fight:) This is with the Defensive node mind you. Just thought it was funny. I think high end AI are way more aware of their situation than we give them credit for sometimes. Oh, side note: pretty sure I had a SG dex my Ghost sp2 in sec 1. Not evade, but dex it (critical hits cannot be evaded).. not sure how else to describe it. Thoughts?

    of course they do.

I will give you an example. when i used my 5/65 Ghost in chapter 2 Cav difficulty i had no problem whatsoever baiting opponents specials and stuff. But when i used my R5 4 star Ghost, the opponents hesitated and waited forever to throw specials.

I think the AI reacts your play style which is different from champ to champ.
